Need to connect my 2012 macair to a dell usb-c dock. Can I use the following configuration. Mini display to hdmi, then the hdmi to usbc to the dock?

Accepted Answer

Dear friend
Very happy to answer for you
Connect the adapter to the USB C cable, and then connect it to the HDMI port of the TV or projector to convert from a Mac-book to a large-screen display. Note: The product can only transmit in one direction, USB C input, HDMI output. This adapter requires an additional USB C to C cable. Note: Please note that it is a USBC port, not a USB port
Make sure your USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port supports video output so that it can work. In addition, when you use a USBC-HDMI adapter with a USB hub, please make sure that your USB hub supports video output, otherwise it will not work
This product requires a USB 3.1 to USB 3.1 standard cable
