Does a great job keeping my dog's teeth and gums healthy!
These Greenies dental dog treats are my Chihuahua’s favorite. I have been giving her this brand since she was just a puppy and she took to it immediacy, never had a problem with her not wanting to eat it. Having tried several of the Greenis line of treats, this one seems to be the one she likes to eat the most. I also prefer this variety over the others as well. I personally prefer the bag greenies over the box greenies because the bag is easier to open and close and keeps the treats fresh.Every morning she is by the pantry patiently waiting for her greenie treat. When I give it to her, she gives me her paw, takes the treat, and runs away with it to our bedroom. The whole thing is gone within a matter of minutes, there never is any waste with this one. During the 8-year period of giving these to her, not once has she ever gotten ill or vomited from them. For an 8-year-old Chihuahua she has great teeth and gums and I contribute that to the Greenies. I do brush her teeth and use a dental spray but this treat is what makes her teeth stay healthy. We have never had a problem with any of her dental checkups and she always gets an A+ bill of health. These treats are very tiny which is perfect for smaller dogs. They do a great job keeping her teeth and gums cleaned also, she does not have bad breath. Her breath has never been an issue and that is because her teeth are in great shape. Brushing and dental cleanings have also helped throughout the years but, this treat has been the best in-between maintenance. My vet has a store attached to his practice and keeps Greenies stocked on a regular basis. I prefer to purchase my bags from Amazon, you just can’t beat the price. It’s never too late to start with these treats. A dog can be a puppy or an adult and these treats will help reduce tarter buildup. I will continue to purchase these Greenies because I know it works for her. I would recommend this brand to any dog owner that is interested in purchasing this item.

Nice chew bone without danger of cracking teeth, a problem with small dogs.
Cruise's go to bone for cleaning her teeth & creating a nicer doggy breath to deal with.Cruisen was one sickly little dog when I got her to care for her. She had been on Little Caesars dog food & whatever was on sale for treats. She would barf almost every day after eating & the left over little caesar containers more than once spouted maggots all over my mother's kitchen floor before they got them out to the proper trash. We put her on the Blue Buffalo Wiilderness Grain Free Duck Kibble & these Teenie Greenies although it was a bit more expensive. We also started pulling a Roasted chicken that we then roasted for an extra hour AGAIN, from Sam's Club every 2 weeks, gloved hands taking meat off the bones & heating each 1 oz portion 3 times a day, so that she wouldn't barf if she got excited after eating. The pricing & cost tend to work out the same, even if the outlay seems a bit more.We left her 4 oz of Duck meat kibble in the bottom of the bowl & make sure that fresh water is always topped up & available. She does get a small amount of people food, when we make brisket or sliced roasted pork, & she loves turkey as well. But for the most part her go to diet is Wilderness Duck Kibble & Roast Chicken & Teenie Greenies. To this we add a Brewer's Yeast with garlic tablet each night to dispell mosquito bites, eradicate hot spots & NO night time itchies. This has taken her from a sickly little 5 pound 4 year old. to a healthy 10 pound 6 year old Happy healthy Yorkie. We also by Rx started giving her the Kennel Cough vaccine each year; & the Trifexis pill every month to deal with Florida's year round fleas, ticks & worms (especially heart worms) from mosquito bites. This makes ME feel better considering that our doggy park doesn't require new pet owners to vaccinate their new puppies before bringing themto the park. I have fed Cruisen the Teenie Greenies for over 3 years now & of all of the bones, biscuits out there, they are her favorite & I feel that she is getting better nutrition from them. I would suggest them to any dog owner & the Cat equivalents for BOTH Blue Buffalo & Teenie Greenies as well. She just had her first heartworm test after taking the Trifexis for just over 2 years, Heartworm FREE.We get these Teenie Greenies on the subscribe & ship program every 2.5 months & the 63 bone size is perfect for a Yorkie of some 10 pounds. She gets 1 a day, sometimes 1 more in the late evening. Most of the time she eats them right up, but occasionally we find them "buried" in our stone floor, so stepping on them shouldn't be, but sometimes IS the option.I suggest these & their counterpart the slightly more expensive hip & joint product for all dogs with creaky joints who need a little glucosamine & chondroitin in their lives. The Mars company recently bought out the Greenies brand & that change has done some things to the formula, but for the most part it is still healthier than some of the more established brands, which are only now beginning to rush around & switch formulas from filler, dye & preservative filled to better..This & Blue Buffalo Wilderness Grain FREE Duck kibble are the two Doggy foods that I give to my Cruisen every day.TShe's now headed for 7 years old & we're finally going to do the doggy dentist coming up this July, for preventative care, a base set of xRays & a cleaning.

Yay for GOOD doggy breath!
When our 9 year old dog started to have some truly terrible doggy breath, our vet suggested brushing her teeth. We gave it a go, but Ruby was having none of it. The vets next suggestion was dental treats, specifically Greenies. We headed out and purchased a small bag, for Ruby and our 3 year old Scruffy. Both dogs loved these treats, loved them! Better than the fact that they loved them is the fact that they work! My little Ruby's breath has been so much better, we can even get little doggy kisses from her.Since both of the dogs I'm writing about here fall into the 10 to 15ish pound range we opted for the "teenie" size. Plenty of options for all sizes of dogs are available. I can't speak to the packaging for other sizes but the size we get come 65 to a pack and are in a resealable bag, which makes storage easy. We're using the subscribe and save option and it is working perfectly, the price is so much better than if we were buying in the store. I believe we're paying in the area of 25 cents per dental treat. We just added a 3rd puppy to the family and when fully grown he'll be in the same size range, so this service couldn't be more perfect for us.
