Keeps air flowing
This works very well in my greenhouse. It provides strong airflow, helps keep green house temperature just slightly above ambiant temperature, and is easy to install. The AC Infinity Controller 69 also makes it easy to monitor and adjust the settings.

Very efficient use of power!
I bought two of these 14 in fans and I've had them for several months installed. I liked these so much that I just purchased the 20 inch version and I'm getting ready to install it in my greenhouse. I am an engineer with an electrical license and have built pulse wave modulators before to control fans. I have also used over my career a lot of VFD (variable frequency drives) to control fans and pumps. This is a brief description of what that means. If you want to control a fan make it say run 50% of its speed normally people use a variable resistor called a potentiometer or in the trade we call them a pot. The problem with controlling a fan with a variable resistor is yes you now have half the CFM coming off your fan but the amount of power that you are using is still the same! The reason this is is that the energy not consumed by the fan motor is burned off in heat in the resistor. VFD controlled fans pulse a wave of energy into the fan and that frequency or the amount of times per minute that it sends that energy to the fan to turn it is the only energy being used by the fan the controller does not burn off the rest of the energy in heat. I know this is complicated but take it from me someone has worked in this industry all my career these fans are worth the extra money that you spend on these fans. You will save it in electrical energy. I use an off-grid electrical solar powered system for my greenhouse and barn. As a result I cannot afford to burn off energy running a fan and controlling the CFM to match my needs for our ground air heat transfer unit. I won't go into what that is but it's very scientific and really neat. Take it from me especially if you have a off-grid situation that you want to use fans for or you just want to save money on your electric bill you want to buy these fans they are worth it. Not only would I buy these again, I have and I would recommend them to a friend.

Made a huge difference in the upstairs temp and they are quiet and efficient!
I used 4 of these in my attic in an unconventional way - I do not have a gable but I do have the typical square vents in my older roof. I mounted them under 4 of those vents. yes 12's might have been a better fit but I went with the 14's to run them slower for less potential noise. I also took the time to properly wire 4 outlets for the fans which the power feed came from the one attic light that the house had. If you do this take the time to do it right for safety sake! I took the shutters off since these would be mounted on a 45 degree angle and mounted them to the the studs on the roof and boxed it in with 2 other 2X4's connecting the existing studs. it seals it well enough against the roof vents. I picked these because they could be mounted on an angle and because they have efficient motors which will pay for themselves in a short period of time. I have a 3130 sq house with a mostly 1st floor layout so there is a lot of roof that all the heat goes right to the 2nd floor and right above the 3 kids rooms. There use to be a wall of heat you would hit when going up the stairs and no amount of vent boosters in those rooms would help. Now with these 4 fans running we no longer have that issue and the A/C runs less. I only run the fans on half speed because they are blowing through a vent that is smaller than the fans and running them full speed would just create noise and extra power draw for no reason. I've been waiting on the Wifi controller to be available again but I might just get the bluetooth one for now so I can play with the fan speeds through out the year and not need to go into the attic. I'm VERY HAPPY with these purchases!

Works well
Bought this for my attic to help cool it down in the hot months. Itโs only late March so I canโt speak for actual summer temps yet. It does lower the temperature and I hope it will be enough for the summer. This is a 14 inch. itโs dark outside so I didnโt go take an exterior picture. For the price, I sure hope it works for many years to come. Itโs not exactly quiet, but itโs not annoyingly loud. Iโm OK with the volume inside and outside the shutters. Always close when I turn it off, as I they should. Itโs been a little over a month. Will know more in the coming months. .

Expensive but seems to be good quality.
Came packaged well, installed easily, and everything works. Should help out alot in the chicken coop. Only complaints from the install: 1. The screw heads provided are not a standardized size so you will have to use a Philips bit. You'll understand when you go to secure it. I ended up using something else. 2. There isn't much space between the fan cage and the mounting holes so you'll have to be precise on your rough opening. **I'll update if there are any problems.

Great fan and company
Works as advertised. I live in Northeast Oklahoma and have a 12-in installed on my Gable end and I keep my attic just under a hundred degrees through the summer

Great exhaust van.
Great product. Well made, noise level is tolerable but may be difficult to live with if in an environment such as a basement play room or TV room. In a garage or shed no problem. The kit comes with everything you need for mounting. I mounted in our garage and am really impressed with the air flow this product generates. At the 8 speed level it's actually hard to hold your hand against the flow of air from its suction power. At the 4 speed level it's much quieter but no less efficient. Thoroughly impressed and happy with the purchase.

Light-weight, easy to install unit.
I use this as an exhaust fan above my drop ceiling in a building without windows that can be opened. It drops the temperature over 6 degrees in my case, allowing AC to work less hard, less often. Well worth the money. The star ratings are confusing: I gave 5 stars because there is LITTLE to no noise. It was super easy to install (45 minutes after opening the box to finish).
