The speedring is detachable, right? in other words, if i buy a profoto speedring with 4 holes for the 4 rods, i can substitute it, correct?

In theory you should be able to swap out the Bowens mount speed ring with ones compatible with profoto mount. However, the 4 holes has to have the correct diameter for the flex rods (8mm or 5/16") and be spaced roughly correct (~120 deg (long sides) and ~60 deg (narrow sides)) for this skinny softbox.

Does this include an inner diffusion panel as well as the outer diffuser?

Is the grid removable?

yes. it is removable. 2 layers of diffusers also removable. hence you can get multiple options for lighting contrast

Is this 2 strip boxes? Does it fold down like an umbrella for storage/location? Is the speedring removable for adapting to buff lights later?

yes it is 2 Strip boxes. No it does not fold down like an umbrella, it has to be disassembled. I can't speak to the speed ring removability.
