Excellent product - perfect for these times
Since I've been working from home I don't drive much. As a result my car battery, though less than a year old, does not get enough driving time to charge. I assume this is a common problem for people working from home like me.A couple of times I needed a car start service and hated the time wasted waiting for my car insurance contracted service to arrive, so I decided to give this product a try. This FC200 does the job and does it very well. Very easy to use - just connect it to the car battery terminals and start the car. That's it! I already used it once since receiving it last week - it's definitely worth the cost. The extra features (built in flash light, USB ports, and adapter to a cigarette lighter socket) are all very handy. The USB ports especially - I was curious so I tried charging my phone and tablet simultaneously - they charged as fast as they do on their respective manufacturer's wall chargers.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This pack DOES feature BOOST function, and its an awesome product!
Purchased Jan 2021Not trying to add to the (already overall 4+ star) reviews, mainly because all I have is a first impression - have not had to put it to use - however first impression is conform ratings.First: Having done a bit of research this is one of the best deal going considering cost/performance ratings. One issue however needing attention is that -also not mentioned in product description, yet a very important feature - is the 'boost' function, the ability to start zero charge Batteries. In the questions section one reviewer incorrectly stated adamantly it does not have this feature.I feel a correction is in order. Therefor this review.See images included.EDIT, August 9 2021I just now had to use it on my Jeep that has been sitting for 9+ months.Battery absolutely dead.Using the pack was stupid easy.Started immediately. What is not to love!No more hassle with cables, trying to find a good samaritan willing to jump...and what if you're in the middle of nowhere? No one to jump you/ no power?Simply put this is a MUST HAVE.Whether you own a car or not.Get one.

Jump starter, charger, flashlight, emergency must-have
I live in the mountains of Western PA and have a deep paranoia about breaking down, especially since my mom's BRAND NEW vehicle just died when she had to work...so guess who got a 6 am call for a pick up?? And half the roads I drive to get to my patients are in the middle of nowhere and no close gas station. This is a peace of mind buy to stick in my car for when I'm out and about (along with my flares and tactical folding shovel and blankets and so forth😅). It's heat and cold tolerant so I can just leave it in the trunk and not worry about it not being there because I forgot. It's powerful enough to jump mom's car when it died AGAIN (seriously the dealership got a nasty call on that one for not replacing the battery completely). Plus, we used it as a trickle charger for the riding mower and didn't have to buy another battery this year!🎉It also has a flashlight function and strobe for SOS and the whole unit it waterproof so you can leave it on the hood of the car if you break down in a way a jump won't fix. And speaking of, it alarms if you have the annodes hooked up incorrectly. Which my oldest boy already tried (I can't even with these kids). And best of all? Emergency charger for cell phones. Lol. This is actually a pretty important consideration for me too.

Starts a dead battery quite well.... assuming the unit itself holds a charge.... *the issue*
I purchased this jump starter battery to replace an older unit which did the job, but barely. On paper, this unit is great, and if you take it out of the box, charge it fully, then try to start your car, you'll love it and probably give it five stars. It's quick, super easy to understand the directions/lights, and it WORKS.However...... after one of these type of experiences, we didn't need the unit for a while-- so we charged it up and left it in a back pocket of our vehicle. About a month later, we needed to jump a car--- FAILURE. It simply would NOT work. Why? Well, the answer, fortunately/unfortunately, was simple. The battery was now at ZERO charge-- that's right, it had lost ALL of its juice. So I hook it up to charge, and get it up to 99%, and take it to use, and bang! it works great. But now I'm wondering if it will hold the charge. I disconnect from the battery after the jump, and the display reads 98%. By the time I get it inside, and the display turns off, it's at 96%..... another press of the power button to check and it goes down to 95%. It seems like this battery can't hold it's charge. So I'm really torn-- is it 3 stars or 2? If I have it at home, always on a charger, then it's always available, but now I wonder-- if I have it in my car, on the road, charging constantly, and THEN my battery needs a jump-- will it be reliable? After a preliminary submission of this review, I checked the battery, which is now down to 92% just sitting on my desk. We are definitely at 2 stars now.Big questions-- hopefully I have a defective unit or something which I'm just now discovering (sadly, if so). Not sure.

Simple to use
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is my third jump pack, after the first broken and the second was stolen. Easiest to use by far. Plug in the cables, connect to the battery, ready to go. No fussing with buttons or switches necessary. My standard test for these is if it can start my 53 cranbrook. Sure enough lit it off perfectly. Unlike most packs it supplies power long enough to crank over the engine for a while if the car doesn’t want to start, which is very useful for cars with mechanical fuel pumps that don’t get driven all the time.
