This item is only powered by battery?

No, it has a cord that you can plug into a wall outlet. The battery is for backup power.

Would my firearm still be accessible during a power outage since this product appears to rely on household current?

It comes with a key which can be used to open the safe if power is out. Also has a battery but I am not sure if it can open the lock or just powers the clock/electronics etc.

Where can I buy a replacement RFID chip that gets inserted into this band?

I bought mine from Amazon. I had to wait for them to be in stock which took weeks, but I just checked and then seem to be in stock. They worked flawlessly. Find them here Hornady RFID Watch Band Tag - Universal RFID Tag Attaches to Your Watch Band, Opens Your RFID Safe - Keep Your Safe Key Accessible, Slips onto Your Watch Band - Black Logo https://a.co/d/1dfAL8z

Anyone having issues with the clock keeping accurate time? Mine runs fast and is a few minutes off by the end of the week.

I also have experienced an issue with the clock. The clock on my safe runs slow. It loses about 2-3 minutes every 3 weeks.
