Ryobi RBV3000CESV Garden Vacuum and Leaf Blower

My 20 year old Flymo vac/blower died recently and I did a lot of research on a new corded one. I initially bought a spear&jackson one which I sent back because the bag split (amazingly I could not get a replacement bag!) but this is much better. It is more powerful and vacs even wet leaves very well. A very good piece of kit thus far. A little bit heavy but the 2 strap attachment on the bag and the shoulder strap help considerably. Recommend

The garden vacuum is very powerful and , despite my concerns over the practicality of the collection system, it has turned out to be easy to use and empty.

When the time came to renew an old Flymo garden vac had a good look at what is available much of which seemed to be of questionable design with cheap looking switches and toggles, the things that break first on any but certainly garden equipment. I also like to buy once and buy quality having fallen a cropper in the past (buy cheap buy twice) The Ryobi Blower Vac is robust and certainly gives the immediate impression that it will not fall to pieces, the encased blade is metal and less likely to break breaking down garden waste into small pieces, the vacuum is much more powerful on both settings than my previous purchase. One point - its not the lightest but does have wheels and a shoulder strap so no issue for me. Would recommend.

Excellent pick up and variable suction is great for different areas of the garden

I bought this as I have several of Robys products.1 the zip on the bag is pooly designed and not fit for purpose after 4 uses the zip broke when contacting Ryboi they say the bag is an accessory and a new one has to be purchased.Without the bag you cannot use the product.DO NOT BUY

My first garden vac/ blower, only down side is it a little heavy to use comfortably for a longer period.

Had a competitors make before. This Ryobi leaf blower is lighter, more compact, more powerful and a lot more value for money. The bag has an easy zip up and open function for emptying and I have found the turbo mode for extra power when cleaning up leaves in awkward places very useful. Very good value for money.

Not the usual from Ryobi.Complicated disassembly and prone to clogging which takes a while to clear, whether sucking or blowing. Suck/blow switch gets clogged from inside the mechanism which needs a lot of cleaning before it will work properly again.Does the job but be prepared to unclog it.Also very poor with wet leaves. It just can’t deal with it.All around, best with a petrol blower, sod the expense!
