I bought this and the newer arc/arch version, and while I love the minimalist nature of the newer design, this is the better choice if you have a lighter/thinner laptop. Both will work, this works better. Can't go wrong with either.

I used this stand for my 2023 M3 14” MacBook Pro, and I am very satisfied. For starters, it came in very sleek packaging, and I find it interesting that they gave a list of things you can repurpose your box for! The stand itself is very durable and keeps my MacBook very secure.I do want to add, however, if you have a case on your MacBook, you’ll more than likely have to take the case off when you want to use it. Other than that, it is a really great product and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quality stand.

didn't fit my laptop because it's got a hefty case, so i didn't expect it to.ended up returning it because i'm buying based on brand; my fault. five stars because i know how my laptop would look and itd be v attractive and complementary to my setup.

The media could not be loaded. I have two MacBooks (one personal and one for work) so I use this to dock the one I’m not currently using. It helps save space on my desk and keeps my organized so I can easily find my laptop. Haven’t had an issues with the product.

I bought this for my MAC and Lenovo; my second Book Arc. It's a work of art and functional. This one gets only 4 stars because (a) all the rubber inserts were the same size; and (b) the rubber inserts did not have "hooks" for cables. Not sure why they revised the original.

If you listen to the reviews you'll never purchase anything. Specifically if you go by reviews of this product alone, you're going to never purchase it. There I helped you. But if you're a free thinker and do what's best for you, do yourself a favor and purchase one - you might be surprised at how well it does what it is supposed to do - and if you don't like it, return it.The BookArc works just fine, it's made of aluminum, super high quality and it includes all the necessary inserts to make your MBP standing experience a good one. Will it match perfectly? Nope. Will it hold a MBP with a case? Nope. Should you know this going in to the purchase...yes. But things like that should be common sense, I mean, there's a million different cases in a million different thicknesses - don't make your decisions based on what Kyle expects his experience to be. For what this is, it is perfect. It's a stand. A minimal stand. It stands your MBP up on end. It's literally ALL it does. If you have an issue with it, then I assume you're nothing more than someone who likes to complain. In fact, I ignored the reviews and it works as advertised. A one piece, machined aluminum stand that sits on my desk and holds my MBP. Wow. Imagine that.

The media could not be loaded. There is not much out there on the Twelve South BookArc vertical desktop stand for the PC so I wanted to share some thoughts and content. The product has high quality inserts that come with the product for various sized laptops (all designated Mac). For my X1 Carbon, I used size F & E and it does the trick. There are nice pre installed rubber attachments to support the metallic base (underneath / bottom). Wish they made it in matte black, but this is the space gray version.Note: I am moving and this is a temporary desk.

The MacBook Air is super loose in this product. Looks great but not the form-fit I was expecting.It's allegedly made for this specific Air model, and the 'lettered' sleeve insert matched up with the product description AND my model - but the laptop just flips and flops back and forth in there. You basically have to position the laptop exactly as you want it - but that positioning is loose. So the laptop won't fall out or anything but any little desk bump is going to have your Air falling back or leaning forward.At the discounted price - it's whatever. Had I paid what these often go for I would have returned it immediately.
