Blender Wrench Retainer Nut and Blade Removal Tool Wrench Compatible with Vitamix®15596 retainer nut wrench

Wish I bought this earlier. It's nice to take the blade out of the Vitamix periodically, it's so much easier to clean that way! Also, you'd obviously need this if you ever wanted to replace the blade, or move your blade to a new pitched (both things I've had to do over the years)

I have 7500 low rider 64oz vitamix container. This wrench did its job. It is made of plastic and fits well. If you never loosened your vitamix blade retainer nut, you will have to soak with soap or use vegetable oil to lubricate so you can break/loosen the nut. This after market wrench is a good buy. Better than paying oem vitamix price.

The hole in the center is a tight fit over the drive gear but it does go through. The wrench does its job in getting the large ring off of the bottom of the blender canister.

This thing feels very light, like it will break, but it successfully disassembled and reassembled my Vitamix blender blade assembly once, allowing me to sharpen the blades. I don't know how many cycles it will survive for, but maybe I'm wrong and it'll hold up for a long, long time. The biggest positive is that it's very inexpensive. Even if you are just replacing the blade, you need a tool like this, but if you sharpen the blade, you save $100+ every time it gets dull vs buying a new blade assembly or entire pitcher/blade. Even if I had to buy this tool every time, it'd still be much cheaper.

Nothing beats the right tool for the right price! This wrench is essential to make it easy to remove your Vitamix blade assembly. I bought this, along with a OEM replacement blade. The wrench quickly worked to unscrew the old assembly in a jiff. Once I received the new blade, I was able to pop it in, screw it on securely with this wrench. Voila! Back in business drinking a delicious smoothie!

Perfect fit

I have wanted to dismantle my Vitamix for years to clean the blades and bottom of the carafe but had no clue how to do it. This makes it incredibly easy! Very little effort needed to get the blade attachment loose. I cleaned my carafe and scrubbed my blades and reassembled with ease. Highly recommend.

If you own a mixer this is the best tool to have for maintaining it.

It didn’t do what it’s supposed to do

This didn’t work for my Vitamix unfortunately. I have the Ascent series and it requires a different wrench. My fault for not paying closer attention.
