Hands down my favorite JB for smallmouth bass. Had a lot of success with largemouth too and even perch.

First the cons. The price is much too high for what it is. Also the hooks could be more durable. They break under heavy use. Pros. These lures catch fish when others dont. The flash and erratic movement attracts fish like no other.

Stops on a dime and has a nice tail kick out. Slow rise rate. Looks amazing in the water like most Lucky Craft lures. Too bad it's on a log in Lawrenceburg Indiana now. Guess if better buy another one.......

These lures have great action and catch a lot of fish, beautiful surface finishes although not as durable as the molded in type. I put a strip of the wife's clear nail hardener on the undersides at the hook tip rub points. My only real complaint is the oval snap ring that comes on the line attachment eye, it's little more than a bent staple - ditch it. I lost my first Pointer when it straightened.

I caught a lot of fish with this. I caught fish for my neighbors because they are poor and can not buy food. They are happy to eat bass I catch. I catch so many I like to do what I do to catch bass. This lure slips the sleeve and grapples the grits in one slick. Catch all day l'll catch more cause I buy more.
