Let me start by saying Spigen is a brand I personally choose for quality and it’s never failed me in that regard. This is no exception. My intention for this case is to use it as a daily as the name states, it’s rugged. We all know the Ultra is a brick on the wrist and this adds a considerable amount of girth to it. That being said, that’s exactly what you want out of a rugged case especially one that you’re going to take with you regularly that’s going to be subject to all types of conditions.I appreciate that the band is built onto the case, I think this is a great route to go and I prefer this to buying bands separately especially on thick cases because installation is super easy, you get a uniform look and you can rest assured you get consistent performance as opposed to wondering how each piece will perform with minimal amount of exposed parts like other cases that have large cutouts exposing the frame to make room for different sized bands.I appreciate that this case also seems to work well with screen protectors granted in my case I installed a Spigen brand screen protector, it’s not uniquely designed in terms of shape so most screen protectors should fit snuggly in the case without risk of being damaged with installation. This assures that your screen remains protected from dings and scratches regardless of the case being there.Next is the material, it is a bit stiff but it is absolutely shock resistant. It doesn’t feel or look cheap, the material is grainy and sparkly while maintaining a matte look. Out of the box the design definitely looks like there is a team dedicated to styling so there’s some good form to function and the aramid fiber details and slightly glossy logo details add a nice touch to styling. The fact that Spigen is one of the only brands that commits to using actual metal parts like they did with the buckle (and they do with carabiners etc.) adds to the quality product. Another seriously nice touch and attentive detail is the free loop. You can lock it into the adjustment hole closest to the edge of the strap to keep it from popping out while securing the band so it doesn’t come loose. Seriously one of the features that makes this case unique and keeps it in position the entire time you’re wearing it. The cutouts are precise, the crown is well protected.The only gripe I have with it is that the side button portion protudes out a bit and you will find yourself activating it occasionally should your hand flex back far enough when you’re doing tasks like working out or pushing a door or even resting your head on your hand. Negligible as overall this case is great and adds to the reasons why I trust Spigen and bought 2 more Apple Watch cases to accompany this one that function just as well.

Excellent quality, my Ultra 3 (black) color matches / fits nice and snug and the bezel feels like it protects the screen adequately. The band itself is a little on the rigid side but I'm sure it will soften overtime. I am a huge fan of the strap keeper/ retainer on the band as it has grooves that “lock” it in place as you slide it over the excess strap when sized. This is great because i cant stand when strap keepers slide all over rendering them useless but this is very secure and well designed. The over all esthetic and feel is very comparable to any G-Shock style watch and can accommodate small to large wrists.

This is the best band and case combo that I could have hoped for.First off, this little sucker is TOUGH. I work in an industrial environment, and this beauty has held up much more than I expected. The only downside is that the design allows the device to move around just enough to let small particles to fall in, leaving my watch to end up with some small chips in the finish, but nothing that effects use. It’s very comfortable, has a great look, and overall is just probably the best accessory that you could get for your Apple Watch. If you’re a fan of the G-Shock styling, you’ll dig this unibody band/case combo. Be careful if you use a screen protector though. The tolerances on the case are tight enough that it might cause peeling up of the edges. I personally had issues with the IQ Shield protectors. Might work if you used products suited for the 40mm watch.Pros:- Wide range of fitment. Be wary if you have smaller wrists.- Great style (Love the Military Green)- Protects device from shock- Pretty easy to installCons:- Just enough device movement to allow small particles (metal chips/abrasive material) to fall in.- Could do without the simulated carbon fiber accents on the outside of the band (Just don’t like the look, but YMMV.- Doesn’t work that well with TPU screen protectors for the 44mm watch. Had bad peeling at the edges even with IQ Shield protectors.Overall, I think that if you need a simple yet tough case/band for your Apple Watch, you can’t really go wrong. I can’t see myself changing to a regular band. If you like the G-Shock design and durability, order this ASAP.

Received this band a little over a week ago and have gone back and forth on how I feel about it.When it arrived I was excited to try it out right away based off all of the positive reviews, but admittedly, I was slightly disappointed. The band you get seems like a close knock-off based on the pictures - it looks really similar but just seems...off, in a way.Disregarding the disappointing "excitement" of unboxing it, I popped my Apple watch in the case. It seems like it's made of durable rubber, but was a little skeptical with how easily it just went into the casing, but so far so good with it! I still find myself "babying" it a little because while it seems secure, the rubber gives off the impression that it'll wear and stretch out causing the watch to come loose and fall out (or I could just be extra paranoid, who knows?).Onto the rest of the band, it is single piece construction which is both good and bad. Good in that it provides security to it all, no worrying about if one of the watch bands will come "unclicked" causing the watch to fall off, but bad in that if any part of the band does break or become defective the whole band is done for. Additionally, the buckle itself feels kind of like barely above average plastic.I promise this isn't a full-on negative review though! My experience with it in the very short-term has been good. It's done its main job in being a band for my watch and given it a little more girth and the appearance of it being protected. It hasn't faced any run-ins of being hit against a wall or dropped, so I can't speak to the overall protective measures, but it's nice to know I can really "feel" it when I wear it.I love Spigen and use their phone case for my iPhone and it feels well-made and well-constructed, so I guess overall the band itself left me a little wary and slightly disappointed and I don't feel completely trusting that it will truly protect my watch. I am still not sold or sure of the long-term durability or composition of the watch band that comes with continued use and age.All-in-all if you're just looking for a change to the click-in watch bands that you get with an Apple watch, this is one to take a good look at in considering.

Great watch band. This is my second one. I had this exact one but in green and it lasted me years! Very easy to clean and very comfortable. I’d recommend it for anyone who’s wanting a band that looks great and tactical and offering protection.

Awesome product! I makes your Apple Watch feel like a really solid watch, (Reminds me of my old G-Shock). It’s one solid piece, no annoying sliding like the Apple Band. One you pop it in, your watch is fully protected!

After trying several cases including AmBand, this is the one I’m keeping. Actually I got 2– one Black and one Vintage Khaki.Ease of use: Crown cutout is perfectly sized — spins freely with zero obstruction, night and day compared to other rugged cases I tried.Comfort: Surprisingly lightweight for a rugged case, and the band has enough breathability for all-day wear, though naturally not as airy as a standalone nylon band.Sturdiness: The deeper bezel noticeably inspires more confidence for drop protection — you can feel the difference vs. shallower alternatives.Quality: Construction feels premium throughout, nothing cheap about it.Weight: Lighter than expected for a rugged case — doesn’t add fatigue on the wrist.Closure: Installs and removes easily, no struggle.One color note: the khaki reads more brown/tan in person than the product photos suggest — closer to a vintage tan than any green tone. Not a complaint, just worth knowing before you order. Overall the best rugged Apple Watch case I’ve used.

Love the way it looks! However, this is my third one, as the watch clasp breaks after a couple of years. The last one lasted four years. And the first one lasted three years. So it’s durable for a couple of years.
