While this did take a bit to figure out how to use these, the instructions they came with were really easy to follow. I did need some help with the back of my head as it was the I couldn't see that well and kept messing up but once these curlers were in, I put my dryer hood on and kept it on low. I left that on for under 10 minutes and then allowed my hair to full cool before taking these out. Once my hair was completely dry, removing these were really easy, just pinch the top and pull down. These curlers never once pulled out any of my hair but rather left me with curly ringlets. The curlers themselves were a lot easier to use than what I originally thought. I've now used these on myself several times and my daughters. Love how easy these are to use and how our hair looks afterwards. I did find that having a hooded dryer does help but even allowing them to air dry works too. When it comes to using these, I've done them with completely wet and hair I had to spray wet. Both work just as well but working with completely wet hair works a lot better. Great curlers for short or long hair, thick or thin hair too.

The hook wasn't strong and keep coming apart.

The curls are cute, but the process is time consuming and the blue rode which pulls the hair keeps coming undone. It needs to be one solid piece.

My daughter has curly hair so I thought these would be great. It was incredibly difficult to pull her hair through. And the stick broke every single time so I’d have to fish it out, it’s not for us. They arrived quickly in appropriate packaging and would be better is the stick was not breakable. We bought 2 packs and both sticks come apart.

Takes forever to put in hair without it hurting once in awhile (doesn’t help with the fact that I have super duper thick hair) but, beauty does not exist without pain, am I right? Once my hair is all in, sleeping with it is annoying but once it’s taken out the next morning my hair is gorgeously curled for over 24 hours. I’ve even slept with the curls the next day and they were still bouncy! (Ya I really did wake up like that). I only recommend this product if your the kind of person that doesn’t mind going through a whole process to get perfect hair! I still use it from time to time because I absolutely refuse to use really hot heat on my hair, so for me it’s worth it! (Oh and no hairspray needed to keep it the way u like it, trust)!

I have really fine hair and I bought these thinking these would be the perfect hair curlers for me. My hair is not very long, so I put the curler up as close to the scalp as possible. Even with my thin hair, taking very thin sections, it was very painful to get the wand to go back through the mesh. Then, I thought I would sleep on them since they are squishy. Nope. It was like someone was pulling my hair all night. The most uncomfortable things I have ever used. When I took the curlers out, which is pretty easy to do, yes it did curl well, but it looked so frizzy. My hair is NEVER frizzy. So..... I will probably never be using these again. They work... and perhaps they work better with long hair, but they certainly did not work well for mine. At least not the finished result. It just was not worth the pain.
