What is the JF-11 designed to do?

JF-11 is a 6-band EQ for shaping guitar or bass tone. It cuts or boosts selected frequencies to adjust lows, mids, and presence. It is not a distortion, compressor, or amp simulator.

What do the 6 EQ bands control?

100/200Hz shape low-end body; 400/800Hz adjust midrange focus; 1.6k/3.2kHz shape clarity and pick attack. Start flat, then make small changes one band at a time.

Why won’t the pedal turn on or why is the LED not lighting?

Use a 6F22 9V battery or DC 9V center-negative power supply. Fully insert a 1/4" / 6.35mm plug into the INPUT jack, or the pedal may not power on. When engaged, the LED lights red. If it still does not respond, please send us message.

Why do I hear hiss, buzz, or distortion after adjusting the sliders?

Strong EQ boosts may increase audible noise, especially with high-gain pedals,active pickups,poor power,or faulty cables. Set sliders near center, test with one guitar,one amp,and known-good cables, then make smaller adjustments. Use regulated power.

Where should I place JF-11 in my pedal chain?

Place JF-11 before drive to shape gain response,or after drive for final tone contouring.Many players keep it on near the end of the pedalboard as an always-on EQ.Since it has no master volume slider,compare bypass and engaged levels while adjusting.
