This game processing kit is all you will ever need (and more, really) to process wild game in the field or even process your own home-raised meat animals. I bought to process my own rabbits and got the job done with the just the caper and skinner, which is all you will really need if you are only processing small animals like rabbits or squirrels. The shears are a bit unwieldy for my small hands and really did not work that great for cutting off the feet as I had hoped but may be more useful in dressing larger game. The knives come out of the kit super sharp and ready to work for you so be careful! The kit comes in a hard plastic carrying case, which keeps your knives together and keeps you safe when toting them around. The handles have texture as well as formed grips to prevent slippage during use. All in all, a great kit but unless you are processing big game, probably more than you need.

After using this kit I’m very pleased with the value. The blades are very sharp. I can’t imagine beating the price for what you get and how it performed.

I just used this kit to field dress a moose, and I have no complaints about the cutlery within it.Cutting through moose hide will dull a knife quicker than trying to slice open a train rail, but the sharpener brought the razor edge right back every time, and with only a few swipes. The boning saw delivered as promised, cutting easily through the sternum and pelvis (well, as easily as one can cut through a moose sternum and pelvis without using a sawzall... lol)Pretty much the only two knives I used were the caping knife and the skinner (I like using small, controllable blades when cleaning out even the biggest of game). The gut hook made slicing through the mesentery and linea alba a breeze, although it would not rip through the hide like a Wyoming Knife would.The only real complaint I have is the rib spreader. I don't think it was designed to prop open a moose rib cage, but on the other hand, I'm not sure I was trying to implement it correctly... perhaps an instructional video would help?Overall, no complaints, and I consider this a very, very good investment.

I havnt used this kit yet but I inspected it thoroughly.TOOLS: Knives seem to be very sturdy and sharp, whether or not they hold an age remains to be seen. They all seem very useful and practical with good grip. The gloves included had a tear in one but if you're serious about butchering your kill, you should have more gloves anyway.CASE: I didn't give the product five stars because of the case. The retaining "tags" built into the case will most definitely give out eventually. Seems kind of cheaply made honestly. There was a lot of green plastic shaving throughout the kit and on the tools but a good rinse/wash would fix that. All in all the product seems to be as advertised. Can't wait to use it!

I bought these about a year ago and haven’t had too many chances to use it. I’ve used it probably 6 times so these knives haven’t been through too much but so far they have held up great! I’ve used them for cleaning hogs and deer and they work great. There is a large selection of knives for different animals and scenarios, my favorite is the gut knife it makes it incredibly easy to cut through the skin with the back of the knife! I love this knife set and I’m sure whoever gets it will too!

My son is a hunter and I gave this to him and he likes it real well. I don’t know if he’s used it yet, but he was excited to give it a try.

My fiancé is crazy about deer hunting and I'm starting to get into it myself. He's been talking about how he needs new knives so bad.. well, with bow season still being in, he got these as an early Christmas gift. I was nervous.. he's picky about his knives but he tore the wrapping paper off and his face lit up. It's PERFECT. More than what he wanted and they're great quality knives. Blade doesn't wiggle or flex any more than it should and they came as sharp as they can get!
