Terrible , you cannot put the slightest pressure on this easel while painting as it wobbles very easily and falls over , the support at the back of the easel fell off after a few hours , the hinge is not strong enough for itDon’t waste your money

I've attached photos of the Easel as assembled and with a canvas print (36"x24"x3/4") mounted in it (it will hold a print up to 43'' in length, and surely something wider than 24"). After assembling it, we ordered three more. I gave four stars for "easy to assemble" because of the instructions - they're all in pictures, and they're kind of small. Even though we're not that handy with assembly, we were able to figure it out, taking about an hour or so - if you're handy with tools (bonus - they include a pretty good screwdriver with it!) you could probably do it in 30-45 minutes or less. The color is a dark brown and the wood is of good quality for this application. It is light in weight and fits our need.

First of all, I am spending time writing a detailed review because I really want to help my fellow buyers to make a good decision. I highly recommend this easel if you are looking for a sturdy one at a low price. Serious one of the best things I've ever ordered on Amazon (I order on Amazon almost every single day for years, made lots of bad choices)So my previous one I used for years was $300+, obviously very good but I had to sell it at a cheap price when I moved abroad,. This time I told myself to get a cheaper and smaller one, as I move a lot, it would be easy to carry or sell, I wouldnt feel so attached.I checked all easels under $100 that is eligible for Prime. This seems okay but again, with the price $49 I really didn't have much expectation..When it was delivered to me, the package was damaged (both Amazon&original packages were damaged) and I was ready rolling my eyes.. anyhow, when I opened the package, surprisingly, nothing is damaged due to the nice double wrap. Each piece is packaged separately. It comes with all hardware even with a screwdriver! The rosewood finish is really nice, and if I remember it correctly, it is beechwood? so according to the listing, it should be anti-damp, so I can set up this easel on my balcony. The quality seems really nice as they are kinda heavy and sturdy, which is again, beyond my expectation for this price.So I am that kinda person who is not handy at all, so I first read the instruction, I was so confused, so if you are someone like me, I highly recommend you to check the listing pictures and it will help a lot. After checking the pictures, I realized the instruction is very very clear even without descriptions. There are a few steps can be tricky, so what I did was not fully tightening all screws until I was sure it was all correct. I noticed some small scratches on the parts so not sure if it was assembled and used but either way I am happy. It took me less than 30mins to put everything together. All hardware bag has letters on them so it is just really really straightorward.The only thing I'd complain is this easel seems not so 'stable'. It seems a bit lightweight and shaky. But I need to mention that seems I am not strong enough so even I tried really really hard, all screws are still kinda loose.It is overall a small easel but it really works for me and I cannot be happy about this purchase. I just hope I dont be procrastinated and I now have an easel, so no excuse not to practice;/

I love this easel al it is very sturdy and can holds my canvases and drawing boards with ease. i wish i had the space to the bigger one tho but this does well in small spaces with a toddler cause it allows me to raise it when in done
