Chris' & Pitt'S Original BBQ Sauce, 18 oz

Grew up.getting Chris& Pitts Bbq sauce it was good before trying it out again soon

When I was a child in Northern California in the '60s my Mom used to make BBQ'd Chicken and had always used Chris 'N Pitts BBQ Sauce. I was thinking about this one day and decided to search for it. Found out that the original company still exists in Southern California and they sell the product on their website. I headed for Amazon for my Prime fast shipping and finally got to taste the BBQ sauce from my youth.I wasn't disappointed! Funny thing though, I don't remember the flavor whatsoever but it sure tastes delicious now!This is my "go to" BBQ sauce from now on!! I totally recommend that you try it. I'm not in California so cannot find it locally but you may find it in your California grocery store.Now for the elephant in the room. The PRICE I paid..It's a TOTAL RIPOFF! No way should this Single Plastic Bottle of BBQ Sauce cost $14.61!!!!! I was desperate and of course I was not forced to buy from this seller but I WILL NEVER PAY THIS MUCH AGAIN. I will not purchase anything from this seller again unless they lower the price of the BBQ sauce. This is BBQ Sauce not something "essential." It should sell for under $3.00 per bottle.

Found our favorite BBQ sauce. Used to go to Chris n Pitts BBQ restaurant in CA frequently. The best imho.

Picture says Original, description says Original, the bottles I received say Hickory, with a sticker slapped on the side that says Original. Not at all what I expected. Also, the product “use by” was the date I received it.

Not the same flavor or texture as I remember from years past, too bad.
