XL Rust Res Stor Hanger, No Color

There is only one! When I read it I thought there was more then one. It does not come with hardware. I started a return but when they sent me return instructions it said you pay for return shipping. So by the time you drive to the post office and pay for the return you probably pay for it twice so I figured I'll keep it and use it for something else later on. Do not buy if you need more then one the price is not worth it. I went to a local store and bought bigger, more durable, and a quantity for a lot less then I paid for one!

I hate reviews like this -- I prefer reviews from people who have actually USED the product. However, my dismay at finding only ONE hanger in the package propels me to write this.This looks like a nice enough hook, but read VERY CAREFULLY the description and find that although this item is described as hangerS (plural) there is only one hanger in the package.Buy two and you'll actually be able to hang something. Buy one, and you have a very tiny walking cane. Or abstract art.

The product is sturdy and well made; however the “Product Information-Technical Details” section states the product dimensions are 24 x 12.5 x 15.5. Be sure to open up “See More Product Details, which states the actual size of the hanger arm is 8 inches. Also, mounting hardware is not included.

I was astonished to see how large and heavy these things are! Much too big for what I had in mind, but I have no doubt I'll find something to do with them. I'd suggest that the seller put something ordinary in the picture with them so people would have a better idea of the size. I should have gotten out a ruler to compare with the description, but I didn't.

We hang an 8 foot step ladder from two of these and boy do they make it convenient and safe to store. I wish I had done this years ago. Now I have put up two more sets to store my nice wood outdoor benches on during the off season. I'd buy more if I had a use. They are strong and easy to hang.

As mentioned by another reviewer, this will only hold 8" deep shelf board though it is listed as 10.5 x 1 x 11.2 inches. Also, I found at local hardware store for a couple dollars less.

Had two of these hooks installed in the garage. Able to hang four (4) beach chairs on it !! Opened up much needed floor space. Would recommend this product as the quality is excellent. You will have to provide your own hardware for installation.

I am using this to hang a 20 foot aluminum extension ladder on the fence behind my shed. These hooks are easy to install, they have 2 pre-drilled holes for mounting against a solid vertical surface. There are plenty strong enough for a fairly lightweight aluminum ladder like mine. However if you are hanging something heavier than 150 lbs (my estimate), they would probably fail. After a few months, I see no signs of rust. I anticipate that these will last at least 3-5 years in the Houston rain and humidity, which I consider acceptable. Good solution for outdoor hanging since it is very difficult to find large brackets like these that can be exposed to the weather.
