Beistle Castle Entrance Door Cover

Great Medieval Times classroom decor! I hung it on the door.

These door covers are beautiful and very realistic. The only drawback is they are too short to fit the entire door. The solution is to buy two and add the bottom portion of one at the bottom of the other. I have attached a picture to show how we did it. Many reviewers complained about this size issue. I cannot complain because as far as I can tell these are the only castle doorways available so hey I'll take it. :) These made the decorations for my son's Harry Potter birthday party amazing!!!

I know people complained that it was smaller than a door - and it is - but I read that beforehand and purchased it as a photo backdrop for my son’s Harry Potter themed party. It looks like the inside of Hogwarts. It worked for my purpose because they are children (small) and we mainly did one child at a time. I wouldn’t recommend it for adults because it’s pretty small. These kids were 5-13ish and it was fine.

The product itself is ok (cheapie plastic like a dollar store tablecloth, as expected), but I feel like the "Door Cover" title is a little misleading. Granted, the dimensions are listed, but I assumed -- incorrectly -- that a "door cover" would actually cover a standard sized door. No such luck. It's not wide enough OR long enough. I will still be able to use the product, but I will have to use additional material to cover the door. This "door cover" covers about 2/3 of a standard sized door.

Yes this door cover is shorter than most by almost two feet. I knew this going into the purchase. I also knew it would be plastic and shiny. Aside from that, the kids got a kick out of it and kept acting like they were walking up the stairs( I hung on bathroom door which can be seen directly accross hall from room I decorated as an evil sorcerer's castle chamber for halloween with fake paintd brick around all doors and openings which helped to tie-in door cover, and for door cover to compliment scene. If room is going to be dark I do reccomend having soft yellow light directly accross and somewhat in front of door to be used to illumintate door cover due to it being shiny. I was able to accomplish this by wrapping orange and red and yellow tissue paper around hallway sconces in oppposite of door in hallway which also ended up looking like torchesif going for that look. Wish my camera was better would have taken pictures to help out fellow crafters and artists to create great props for castle themes. Overall you get what you pay for and I would have paid more for a longer one, but add some black plastic around edges where it doesn't cover paint bottom to look like floor leading down a long hallway to stairs and works just as well. Great value for the money, added a bit of interest to our set up. A little smaller than I thought but wonderful overall.

This is the 2nd time I’ve purchased this castle entrance door cover for Halloween decorating... I used it a couple years ago in our Harry Potter Hogwarts castle and again this year on our (covered) front porch that we used plastic castle wall sheets as a backdrop for our decorations. The plastic is pretty heavy duty, so I’m sure it will hold up well outside under our covered porch. No doubt I’ll buy this for Halloween decorating again in the future.

Hatte eigentlich eine selbstklebende Folie erwartet - ist aber nicht der Fall. Die Folie ist abwaschbar, dehnt sich aber etwas beim Ankleben auf die Tür. Wäre schön, wenn es diesen Artikel passend für Standardtüren geben würde. Die damit dekorierte Kellertür sieht jedenfalls um einiges interessanter aus.
