Personally I don't appreciate the cooking terminology and I find the running of subjects one into another a bit difficult to follow, I have been trying to read the whole book so I can try to figure out how to use the concepts for my business - which is not financial so I am forever translating date offset functions for accounts into what I need. There are lots of places they could have put more information or background but kept it content light. Good amount of programming if you need that tho.
