LUCID Square Tufted Mid Rise Adjustable Height Headboard, Queen, Pearl

I never leave reviews and I am doing so just to share how awesome this headboard is. We have an adjustable bed and of course headboards never work. I looked for a wall mount option for a long time and they either looked too complicated to install or didn't really mount to the wall once you started reading the details. This was so easy to install to the wall. They provided all the hardware needed. I am glad they posted a how to video because this was the reason I hit BUY NOW! Oh and the quality is great too :) I purchased ivory and it is the perfect shade of ivory.

The headboard is very comfortable, it is really easy to put together, I recommend measuring your bed to make sure it will clear (it is supposed to clear very tall beds but just in case), also, if your bed frame does not come with any sort of way to install this, this headboard already brings the necessary attachments.If your bed frame is metal it can be very complicated to drill some holes into it in order to install this even with the attachments, for which I recommend using zip ties, they will hold perfectly and it is the back of your bed, nobody will ever see that anyways.

First Kudos for the timeliness in delivery I received it on the day it was promised. I ordered and received the pearl color, It was actually grey in color ugliest pearl Ive ever seen not like the picture in the ad. One of the selling points was the ad stated it is made of solid Siberian Larch-wood for high quality construction. The pieces that I saw were all low quality PRESSBOARD and they looked dirty and were covered in some kind of chemical. The legs were covered in sawdust where they drilled the holes and were covered in a cheap foam like material which was loosely glued on. The legs also had pressure marks on them indicating they had been installed? So did I get a used one instead of the new one I bought? Part of the back was broken and staples were sticking out everywhere. Where it was broken the backing material looked like it was just ripped out by hand and not cut with scissors. The same goes for the upholstery job and the stapling job it was horrible. the front looked OK but as evidenced by the pictures not enough material was used and it was cut wildly and in some spots the staples were barley hanging on to the fabric and it would be only a matter of short time before the fabric pulled loose from them. I'm really disappointed as I did read some of the reviews apparently I didn't read enough was hoping this would be OK as I purchased it for my bedridden mom who needs it and is really disappointed as well. Nobody has any in stock around us except for High end pieces which she cannot afford.

Edit: fair for the price but received no instructions and had to find extra bolts for the extension plates.Should have been straight forward but the legs were not wide enough to fit into my frame.I used the extension plates but there were no extra bolts to secure them, but several narrow screws for wall mount. The slide plate attachments do not fit the width of the legs, but I didn’t use them so 🤷🏻‍♀️ Luckily we had some bolts spare but it still felt wobbly so I added zip ties and attached a thick piece of foam to the back to rest against the wall for stability. It works but I don’t think this’ll last.Overall I don’t regret my purchase. It was a good deal, it looks great and I won’t lose my pillows down the canyon behind my bed anymore. Next time I’ll bite the bullet and spend more for longevity, but this’ll do for now.———————-Original reviewI just received this today and I was panicking when I saw some reviews about bed bugs after I already purchased it.I thoroughly inspected it with a flashlight and there are no signs of bed bugs. I’m waiting for my frame to come in and I will be back to finish my review.Shipped faster than quoted and the dark gray linen is lovely.

Since I had a Lucid L300 bed frame I assumed it would be a snap to install, and be a heck of a lot sturdier than it is. Installation was cumbersome, with WAY too many adapter plates considering it was a Lucid item as well. Directions not clear and my box was missing 1/3 of the nuts/washers which I had to scrape up from the garage.After finally getting it on, it is very flimsy, and if a dog/child would hit it, it would most definitely slam back the 1/2 inch to the wall and eventually break or damage the wall. I put pillows between it and the wall in order to give it some stability. (floor base board prohibit butting it directly against the wall).Bottom line - love the bed - headboard not so much - if the legs were made out of metal instead of 1x3 wood, it would be a lot better.

This queen headboard does NOT fit my queen frame which i also got from amazon. Posts are too narrow and dont match up with my frame. I was forced to wall mount this headboard using the "optional" mounting hardware and now I can never rearrange my room without patching up my wall. Terrible.

Flimsy. Short. Cheap. Poorly thought through. All fitting words.1. The posts are about a foot too short. Which means you will need to mount to wall for any normal size mattress.2. The posts only sit 2in off the edge which means from anything other then head on you can see the posts with all of their drilled open holes.Feels like something from a newly built motel 6. Unless that is your jam... avoid.I will say that with about 2 secs of thought this product could have not sucked this much. Too bad.

very well made headboard. Not impressed with the fabric around the legs. would have been best to use a black painted wood. I will probably take it off and paint them at a later time. for now.... it isn't hurting the look as you can't see it behind the bed. Like that headboard has different adjustment heights for use under my bedroom window. No less sturdy than any other fabric headboard out there. lots of extra parts to attach to a frame. sadly , mine is a metal frame and screws weren't long enoughbuy about 2 inches. Easy fix with a simple purchase of 2 longer screws!

It's ok as a basic headboard but too pricey for the quality and size. The cushion is very thin not super confortable, to for example read a book you will need pillows, it's basically sightly better than the wall, so I guess not that bad. The size, in terms of height of the board is pretty small, so I hung it from the wall and there is like 5cm from the pillows so you can rest your head in the headboard and not the wall. It may be just too small for tall people. Quality of fabric and installation are ok, not great but nice and expected for a basic headboard. Overall, with the few amount of material and quality of the headboard, I think this should cost 50 CAD max 100 CAD, at 150 CAD is just too pricey, mostly keeping it because I already installed it and it's a churn returning it.

This is a very well made product, it came as described included all the hardware to essemble, and even had an attachment to anchor it to the wall. My only problem was that it didn't come with any instructions. I had to YouTube instructions on how to essemble, thankfully the one in the vid on YouTube was very similar.. Other than that, it was easy to essemble once I figured out where all the lettered bits went. I am very pleased with the end result, sturdy and well made, with a Linen like material. True to the color..

Headboard looks good. I expected this to be a very quick install but that wasn't the case. Even though I bought the correct one for a Full/Queen bed, the two upright legs were too close together to fit our Full/Queen frame, so the included extension plates had to be used. Alignment was a bit problematic but once installed it is fine. If you have to use the extension plates, bolt them to the headboard first and to the bed last.

This headboard looks really nice. It was mostly easy to assemble, but the instructions had the bolts going the wrong direction. So there was some trial and error to get it right. There were some bolts that were the wrong length, but in order to have them NOT poke holes in the wall, the bolts are now in the way of the boxspring mattress. But I do like the look of the headboard, so will put up with the inconsistencies in assembly.

We are very pleased with this headboard. We mounted it directly to the wall and it was easy to install. The material and colour was as described online; we liked it so much that we purchased a second one for our spare bedroom. I was a bit concerned after reading reviews that the headboard had an odour but both that we received haven’t had this issue.We would recommend this headboard to anybody considering purchasing it.
