Great arrows. Mediocre packaging.
It’s important to know these are for shafts only. You will have to cut and add your own fletching on these. They do include the bull dog collars, nocks, and the half out inserts. Disappointed with the packaging as it was shipped in a box but the shafts themselves only come in a bag. The arrows themselves are great. I have been shooting them for a year now but they do tend to crack if you hit something semi hard. Can’t blame the arrow for that though. The 203 inner diameter is also a concern as it’s harder to find accessories for the diameter. Also the halfserts that come with them have issues. There were 4 that were too big for the shafts. If you force them you will crack the shaft.

Great arrows.
I started shooting these a few months ago with my new Mathews Bow. I've never considered shooting passed 40 yards. With this bow and arrow combo I'm cutting the vanes off at 65 yards. I've been shooting bows for a long time, but this is nothing less than impressive.

Bare shaft arrows
These are bare shaft arrows even though they're advertised with the fletching installed. If you already have the tools to fletch your own arrows then these are a good product for you. I do not have the tools to do that and purchasing those along with vanes would've been equal to just buying other finished arrows.Outside of that issue the arrows themselves feel high quality.7/19/20 Update: Increase from 3 to 5 stars. After I initially returned these arrows (because I thought they came pre-fletched) I convinced myself to invest in some arrow building tools and re-ordered these. So far they've exceeded all expectations. Most days we have some pretty crazy wind ripping through the field where I practice. These in combination with some 2" blazer vanes are hitting 1-2" groups at 40yds, with or without wind. I will have these out in the field with me throughout the rest of CA archery season.

Awesome shafts for the money!
I can hardly believe the quality of these shafts for the price! Less than 3 dollars a shaft for this kind of quality is virtually unheard of.... I know the other reviews here rightfully mention the incorrect photo, as these are bare shafts with nock and inserts, but if you can simply add your own fletching and cut these to length, then that's the ticket laddy! (still waiting for transparent aluminum arrow components, lol)These are thick walled, .280 spine skinny shafts that shoot as beautifully as they are built! I put them on the spinner and they're right there with Easton Axis for straightness, which is about as good as it gets. Couldn't be happier, certainly not at this price. Thanks Amazon.

My go to arrow, however not sure I like the SD over the normal reds
They shoot great, what more do you want!THAT SAID, note these are the SD shafts, meaning they are a more narrow shaft and WEIGH MORE over the normal reds. With the SD reds you get better penetration BUT at the cost of a slower speed and a less flat shooting arrow, good for heavy winds or if you need that extra penetration, but if thats not a problem stick with the faster and flatter shooting normal (non SD) maxima reds Picture is a SD red next to a normal red, both fletched at 3 degree helical with boning heats

Good buy
Great arrows for the money. The half out inserts are a little loose and had a couple pull out even with 5000 + psi epoxy fully cured for a couple days. For the most part a very good purchase.

Great deal
Great product and great deal . If you don't mind building your own custom arrows to your specs. You have to customize to your own length or leave them as is, and put your own custom vanes on. Everything else is there to build your arrows.

Weights are way off.
These are supposed to be 44 grain inserts (like the ones I've bought in the past, and what they are advertised as), they are 57 (I returned one set and got the same 57 grain inserts on the replacement order). Also, the arrows are supposed to be 9.8 grains per the package, or 9.4 per the picture, but the are 10 to 10.2(the arrow pictured is 28.125 inches and weighs 287.4 grains) grains per inch. Doesn't seem like much, but it adds 7 grains due to arrow weight and 13 grains for the insert. 20 grain heavier arrows will not shoot the same as the old ones. I think these may be knock offs... I'm returning them, will buy from Carbon Express directly.
