So good I bought another!
Great mouse for the price. Does everything I need in game, fully customisable profiles which control each have their own lighting, button actions & DPI settings, fast DPI switching, easy profile switching, customisable weight balance and it's extremely comfy to use for long periods of time. The side buttons are perfectly laid out and each row is angled slightly differently which makes it super easy to know where your thumb is on the grid without thinking about it. Obviously it takes a little practice as all 12 button MMO mouses do, but this one has by far the shortest learning curve of any 12 button I've used.Prior to buying this I'd owned a Razer Naga (lasted a little less than 2 years) and two Logitech g600s (both lasted around 2.5-3 years). Decided to try the much cheaper Venus a over 5 years ago as it closely resembles the g500 which was my favourite of the two.For context, while I used the Naga and g600s for heavy gaming sessions after work, the Venus is used both for heavy gaming sessions and around 7 hours a day for work as I went self employed as a web/app developer just over 5 years ago, ironically right around the time I bought my first Venus. I play a wide variety of games including MMOs, first person shooters, puzzlers and sports games, so the mouse has definitely been pushed to it's limits.5+ years of extremely heavy use later and the first Venus is only recently showing signs of it's age. The spring under the main left button (the most heavily used one by far!) has started to weaken. The mouse technically still works, I plan to take it to bits and see if I can restore the spring now I have a new one, but I'm sure I could have easily gotten another 6-12 months out of it if I'd used it till it gave up completelySurprisingly, there are literally zero signs of visual wear at all, the mouse still looks as good as new. No buttons have faded at all, nothing is peeling off, the RBG lighting is still bright and vibrant, even the original glider pads underneath the mouse are still stuck firmly in place, right to the edges, with no sign of them peeling or coming loose any time soon (they do send you a spare set of gliders though, just in case!).Two of the best known MMO mouses failed in half the time with half the amount of usage. If that doesn't tell you everything you need to know about the Venus I'm not sure what else to say to you!

Superb gaming mouse, tonnes of features and very, very comfortable in the hand !
The Utech Gaming mouse arrived in a well presented box and contains the following items: The gaming mouse itself (obviously), instruction manual in various languages (also available on Utech's website), extra / replacement mouse pads for the base and a weight tuning set that slots into the base of the mouse to make it a little lighter or heavier. With the boring stuff out of the way, lets get to the best bits about this gaming mouse and why you should buy one:* Exceptional build quality & Overall comfort in the hand. The ergonomics of the mouse really stand out, quite fierce and sporty looking, with its finely shaped ridges and contours but nothing too over the top or silly looking. The mouse has a frosted texture to it, which provides excellent grip and less free movement when its in your hand, again nothing intense, and works really well in keeping the mouse locked into the shape of your hands at all times - a great thing when playing intense shooting games, you dont want the mouse slipping away from your hands grip in the heat of the battle. The ''ring'' finger rest on this mouse really is great too and adds that extra comfort factor. The mouse feels of high quality. When passing it around co-workers in work they were impressed at how solid it felt and thought I had paid much more premium price for it than I did.* Customisation - It's a game changer and a life saver !You can set almost everything on this mouse, DPi levels, the two arrow buttons on the mouse allow you (from out the box) to set the mouse DPi sensitivty at the click on one button (up arrow increases DPi, down arrow reduces it, all in real time on the fly). Sensitivity of the scroll wheel can be configured too and loads more !x18 total programmable buttons to customise however YOU want. For gaming, assign different spells / healing items to each button, have your first aid kits, reload button literally at your finger tips for easy access, the possibilities are endless and it makes gaming (especially online) a joy. No need to troll through cluttered inventory screens, just assign your weapon, magic, health kits to any button and they are accessible immediately in game.x5 profiles - Allows you to setup individual mouse profiles and save x5 of them in total. Have a mouse setup with different hotkeys and macros for World of Warcraft and have another saved for other games like PUBG, Call of Duty. These profiles can be switched at the press of a button as well on the base of the mouse which makes switching into different saved mouse profiles for each game a breeze and saves so much time !You can set macros on the mouse, and this isn't just limited to gaming, you can set macros for games or any other application including mouse and keyboard combos !The colour options of the mouse can be set, with plenty of variation, 16M colours in total. The mouse will stay one colour, I don't think its RGB like some others, but the colours are bright. The brightness levels can also be adjusted to suit your needs and there is also a light breathing function with various speeds to choose from.Having come from using a Razr mouse, I'm really impressed with this mouse overall. I've been using it for various games and apps, image editing software and online games like PUBG, Battlefield V and loads more and it really does connect the link between the keyboard and mouse. I'd recommend this mouse to anyone. If your on the fence, honestly, buy one and see for yourself, you won't be dissapointed.

Solid mouse
I bought this mouse for games that benefit from the use of macros keyed to buttons. Mouse feels of good quality, movement is smooth and accurate and it comes with extra pads if the original ones wear out. Main buttons are responsive but the side buttons don't give much feedback. I'm a male with a size 9 hand and the mouse feels a little small to me. Maybe it's just meant to be held in a more claw-like grip but personally I like resting my palm on the mouse like I can with my old Logitech G402. So testing if it fits is a good idea like always. UtechSmart driver software is good and making macros and adjusting the mouse is easy.

Fantastic Mouse
This mouse is one of the best I've had in a while. I've got big hands, so most mice give me hand cramps. This however is slightly bigger than a standard mouse but it's shaped perfectly that I can use this comfortably but so can my wife with much smaller hands.I work in a CAD environment, the accuracy and ease of DPI setup and switching is great, also the customisability of all the buttons make my daily work much more efficient. The only downside to this is the software needed to make the customisations, it's comes on a mini cd, however I (like most new systems) do not have ACD/dvd drive, the website doesn't have the software, so you're left searching the internet, and after several hours I did manage to find it.
