Removes makeup and refreshes
This is a great affordable makeup remover. It leaves my skin feeling super clean but not dry or tight. It removes all my makeup and gives my skin a refreshed glow. And it smells luxurious because of the rose water. I really don’t have anything bad to say about it.

Gentle and Effective + Perfect for Double Cleansing!
I’ve been using the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water with Rose Water + Glycerin (value size) as the first step in my skincare routine, both morning and night. It removes excess dirt and makeup effortlessly without drying my skin. The light rose-water scent is refreshing and not overpowering, and the large bottle makes it a great value for the price. It’s gentle enough for daily use and works beautifully for double cleansing when followed by my facial cleanser. My skin feels soft, clean, and hydrated afterward. 💬 Highly recommend this if you’re looking for a soothing, affordable micellar water that truly works! (Purchased with my own money. This is my honest, unpaid review.)

Gentle Cleansing
This micellar water with glycerin and rose water offers a great value. Its large size will last a long time. It is gentle while still cleaning effectively. Glycerin both moisturizes and protects the skin from stripping. It is mild enough to be used several times daily if you wish. Will remove makeup without having to scrub your skin. Doesn't leave your skin tight or angry. Definitely recommend this product and seller. It is a world of difference from burn of Sea Breeze back in the day.

Nice facial cleaning pads
This item is on a regular delivery for me. I recommend it, especially the exfoliating ones. My only issue is that the last orders pads will leave fuzz on me I don't know why but it is the first time that this has happened.

Full Review & Comparison to the other Garnier Micellar Waters
TL;DR: Does what it promises; gently cleans thoroughly without harsh rubbing or harsh surfactants while nourishing & hydrating the skin. You DO need to rinse it off though. The RoseWater & Waterproof ones are the best in the lineup. I’ve finished my second bottle and will be rebuying. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ HAS MANY ADVANTAGES & VERY FEW DRAWBACKS Pros: •Works •Gentle •Soothing •Affordable •No Sulfates •No Alcohols •No Fragrance •Non-Stripping •Non-Sensitizing •Non-Comedogenic •Subtle aroma/scent •Nourishing ingredients •Doesn’t aggravate acne •Doesn’t exacerbate acne •Doesn’t irritate my eyes •Doesn’t leave much residue •Suitable for very sensitive skin •Suitable for dry & balanced skin •Suitable for oily-dehydrated skin •Dissolves oilbased cosmetics well •Dissolves waterbased cosmetics well •Removes any filth on the skin’s surface •Removes any excess sebum on the skin’s surface Cons: •Adds less hydration than advertised •Removing heavy mineral sunscreens takes effort •Waterproof/waterresistant cosmetics takes effort •It removes thin ointment like neosporin but it doesn’t fully remove thick ointments, such as, vaseline, aquaphor & cerave healing ointment. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ DOES WHAT IT PROMISES Compared to the other micellar waters I’ve tried, it does seem to replace some of the hydration you lose from cleansing off your sebum & sweat At the end of a day my skin will have some filth, sebum, eyeliner, eyebrow powder, mascara, tinted hybrid sunscreen & pore blurring primer on it. It’s mild unlike harsh makeup wipes that tug at your skin & have tons of preservatives. All I need to do is soak both sides of a thick (“premium”) cotton pad with the solution and wipe with each side to get my face & neck clean. Then I’m ready to rinse with cool water and follow up with either a face wash or a wet microfiber makeup remover cloth (all micellar waters have surfactants that should be washed off the face) The first step of my nightly skincare routine. After I finish cleaning I wipe my face with Stridex (toner) pads. The pad is always free of residue so I’m certain that this is cleaning effectively! Note: The Rose water version will probably only be 4/5 stars for people who prefer to regularly wear very heavy makeup, waterproof makeup or water-resistant mineral sunscreens. Try Garnier’s waterproof version or one of Bioderma’s micellar water. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ GOOD FOR VARIOUS SKIN TYPES My skin type is combination Lips & Chin = Dry T-Zone & next to the nose = Oily Rest of the face = Balanced/Normal so I needed a makeup remover/pre-cleanser that’s compatible with my entire face and this fits the bill! It sufficiently cleanses my oily areas without stripping the balanced areas and it keeps my dry areas hydrated I mainly use this on my face & neck and it’s works just as well on both areas. My face is acneic and normal-resilient. My neck is acne-free and normal-sensitive. I felt the need to test the acidity of this product before saying it won’t sensitize your skin because many people experience irritation or barrier damage from regularly using cleansers & toners. The healthiest skin has a pH no higher than 5.0. It appears this Micellar Rose Water has a pH right between 4.5 & 5.0 (see picture) so you don’t have to worry about it altering your skin’s healthy acidity level. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A GREAT ADDITION TO THE LINE UP I’ve tried the “All-in-1 Waterproof” version (Clear bottle, Blue Cap) & it’s the best if you want a deep clean very quickly. IIRC it leaves a bit more product residue, lacks skin nourishing additives & doesn’t hydrate; so it’s not the best choice for everyone. The “All-in-1 Mattifying” version (Clear Bottle, Green Cap) I can’t recommend. Acne prone individuals may gravitate towards it because it reduces shine, oil & bacteria temporarily but; none of the ingredients “purify pores” and using tons of denatured alcohol on your face daily is not great for your lipid barrier. People with super oily skin should probably buy one of the other micellar waters and use it as their first cleanser then wash off the residue with a foaming cleanser, benzoyl peroxide cleanser or a salicylic acid cleanser. The “All-in-1 Brightening” version (Translucent Yellow Bottle, Yellow Cap) is okay but vitamin c needs to be on your skin for at least 30 minutes before being washed off to brighten skin or lighten pigment and you’re absolutely not supposed to regularly leave micellar water on your face for more than a couple minutes. The “All-in-1 Sensitive” version (Clear Bottle, Pink Cap) is the most similar to this one in my experience. I would recommend it for people with sensitive skin that isn’t prone to roughness nor dehydration. The nourishing ingredients added to this Rose water version of the product makes it a stand out! Propanediol is a good humectant & emollient making it good for dehydrated skin conditions. It also boosts the effectiveness of things like salicylic acid. Glycerin is also an amazing humectant. Rosa damascena flower water may have skin conditioning, antimicrobial, antioxidant & anti-inflammatory benefits making it great for both dry & acneic skin. Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside is a good cleansing surfactant for keeping your skin clean but it’s very mild compared to others making it good for sensitized skin. Salicylic acid slows how quickly acne bacteria reproduces & purifies the pores. The Garnier SkinActive micellar water line up needed this product. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
