Pure Vita Grain Free Salmon & Peas Cat Food 6.6 Lb, Packaging May Vary

I learned about this product from a sample, and I had no confidence that my 13-year-old Persian would like it, but he did, and it has been good for his urinary tract in particular. A really good Minnesota-made product!

I will be buying this again and again! This has far healthier ingredients than Science Diet, and all the other so called "high quality" diets. None of those dry foods is high quality. fact I don't normally feed my cats dry food at all but I have several rescue cats and kittens right now and can afford to feed them all wet food and the ingredients in this was a pleasant surprise!

As far as i know the only product that doesn't have any meat of land Animal in it..No gelatin no meat..Its interesting.. please make the price low..Thats the only reason for the 4 stars..

My 2 cats have always been overweight, and one of them is often constipated. I have been using this cat food for at least 4 months now. Both cats have shiny coats, are never constipated and have lost their extra weight. They both play more and just feel better. I will continue to buy this product and the only thing I could hope for would be that Amazon would get a larger package of this product so that I do not have to go elsewhere to purchase it.

My cats ate this food for several years, until I adopted a new picky eater who didn't like it. I briefly switched to a couple of other dry cat foods that were also grain free, but all of my cats gained quite a bit of weight. One also developed some urinary tract issues (I don't know if they were related). I switched back to Pure Vita about a month ago and the cats are getting back to their healthy weight, they play more, and they seem quite happy. Even the picky eater likes it now! I also love the fact that it is a truly recloseable bag with a Ziploc seal. Never had a problem with the food getting iffy at the bottom of the bag.

This is great food for a salmon-loving cat...or should I just say a cat? ;)My only recommendation is to not let it dry out (if you use an automatic or continuous feeder with a large chamber). If it dries out too much, your cat will not get the benefit of a luxuriously shiny coat from all the omegas.

The product is fine, a little high to pay, however that's not the issue. This was delivered in the rain and I don't think they rang the bell. By the time we saw it, the box basically fell away from the product, it was so drenched.
