Tight fit but works
Tight fit in the charger, snaps in but works just fine. My guess is that the complaints about these not fitting in the charger were because they did not push firmly enough. Initial run time appears to be about the same as factory batteries , time will tell. Price is a bargain compared to others. Yes, I would buy these again. Would have given 5 stars except for the fit but they do fit the charger, just not the easy slide in as the factory batteries.

Batteries for old Black & Decker tools
They aren’t Black & Decker batteries but they fit all of my B&D tools from quite a few years ago. Charged up quickly. It’s nice to have those tools working again. So far, great value.

BATTERIES WOULD NOT FIT B&D TOOL - CHROME PLATE CAME OFF AND DESTROYED MY TOOL
I had these as back up batteries when original VERSAPAC batts starting to fail. I had to force these batteries into the tool I was using. BIG MISTAKE! Crome end piece got stuck in the tool and could not be removed. Tool and replacement battery was useless and had to be junked. If you look at the original VERSAPAC batteries by B&D, you will see that the whole battery body is one piece. Looks like all these replacement batteries are all built with the chrome insert piece as an independent piece attached to the battery.

Works better than the original ones when new.
I hate throwing away perfectly good tools and was rather unhappy when I could not find Versapak batteries anywhere. These ones are priced reasonably and work great. I have been using them for awhile now, and they still work great. They seem to last longer than the ones that came with my tool kit when new. So I am quite pleased with these.
