the strangest thing... I had been having neck and back problems for the past year, never really been able to figure it out until I met a psychic who told me to get one of these pillows for extra support. How random, but I decided to give the universal message a try. I just got mine yesterday in the mail and slept on it last night like a baby. I can't believe I'm saying this-there is no issue with pain at all right now...my main concern with the king was that it would be too big and heavy, but it's fine, was able to get it in my case and all, and the lavender smell is fragrant and quite soothing. Another concern was if it would be loud against my ear while I sleep. That's fine too, not an issue. This pillow (yes, a pillow) gets my highest recommendation lol. You can adjust the firmness by removing buckwheat if needbe, gives me the support so that my head isn't sinking into my shoulder. Problem officially solved, had to get on here and spread the buckwheat revolution!!! I'm sure this is pretty common and it can be attributed to school, or work, or whatever, but I suppose it could have something to do with the traditional pillow.

It is only 1 pillow and a small pouch of lavender flowers. You would be better off buying 2 queen size pillows from a different seller for about $80 for 2 pillows.

I have been sleeping on a buckwheat pillows for the past 16 years so when my old king size buckwheat pillow needed replacement I looked at a few options but none were as comfortable or as supportive as this one. Granted, I prefer a rock-hard pillow and this pillow is just what I was looking for. It is very firm and is quite heavy which makes for a great neck and head support.

I use to have a sabakawa a long time ago! I’ve spent a lot of money on pillows and never satisfied! I’ve had this pillow for a couple of weeks and so far I’m loving it! I’m getting better sleep and keeping me cool!

Best pillow ever! I have a bad neck from an auto accident and had neck surgery that never fixed my neck so have chronic neck pain; nothing is worse than not getting comfortable. I had first learned about these pillows when I went to an acupuncture Dr and I had told her how I had awful pain and had spent hundreds of dollars on almost every pillow out there and none of them helped me sleep and I would always wake up with my neck hurting even worse .. if that was at all possible! She than explained to me that our head weighs 8lbs like a bowling ball and at night when we sleep imagine the weight of that .. and a pillow is not going to hold that up ! That is when she brought out this pillow that she had in her office .. the bean pillow and put it under my neck while doing acupuncture and within a few minutes I could feel some relief! I was sold!! Ever sense than I have owned 2 of these and would never ever own anything else but these!!!!

It's been two years and I still love this pillow! The aromatherapy was very short lived. Initially I had to remove some of the buckwheat and needed to reinsert it after about a year of use. The pillow molds to whatever position you change to throughout the night and it keeps relatively cool for those of us who have hot flashes.

I was looking for a pillow for my son in his 20s. He has TMJ and neck pain. Some oral surgeons suggested sleeping on a buckwheat pillow. I was quite hesitant, but broke down and purchased this one for him. It has helped ease his discomfort and he says that the pillow stays cool, too. He was so pleased that I ordered one for myself and no more neck pain for me. Great product!
