Will this device actually speed up the time it takes for each aligner to do it's job? Or just keep them more snug and that's it?

It does speed it up. But that’s a decision your orthodontist has to make. I went from 14 days to 10 days. The lowest amount of days you can have a retainer on is for 7 days says my orthodontist... and that happens as you progress in the treatment. Depending on your teeth each Invisalign treatment should last a year to a year and a half! Better then chewies!

What is the frequency of the device? Or at least the general range.

A few times a day for about 5 minutes - I wear aligners 24/7 on my plan.
