Brainy BabyTalking Hands Sign Language DVD: Discovering Sign Language Classic Edition

This is the best beginner ASL I seen. You get to see each sign different angles and it's repeating make sure it sticks

I purchased this video after doing some research on how beneficial sign language can be for hearing babies. When Kaleb turned 6 months I decided to buy two. This video has basically taken the place of the baby einstein videos he loved so much. Although he still enjoys those The Talking Hands video is watched 2-3 times a day. He becomes absolutely enthralled as he watches the kids and adults make the signs and act out the signs. I truly enjoy the fact the video is so diverse and show children of different ethnicities and those with disabilities. I believe this will help familiarize him with how different people can be. He usually watches it while he's eating or when he gets a little cranky. It immediately gets and keeps his attention. Plus when guest come over they began using the signs with him and this reinforces the signing. Overall it was truly a great investment and we don't feel guilty about letting him watch it over and over since it is such an educational video.

Bought this for my 2 year old and myself, put dvd in ready to watch and learn, nothing happened! It’s a blank disc!!! Messaged seller and never got a response!!!

My son has a birth defect that causes speech delay. He had been going to speech therapy for months in which they were trying to teach him sign so he could communicate in some way until he could speak. Months and month he didnt sign one word. We bought this video and after watching it once he never had an interested in it anymore. Then we bought the signing time video series,and the next day he was signing and is now up to 40 signs in 2 months and still going strong! He is so happy to be communicating and he thinks it is fun! I highly recommend the signing time videos they are much much better then talking hands and fun to watch over and over again , my husband and I love to watch them too and the music is awesome!!!!

It arrived way earlier than expected! Can't wait for my little girl to start learning, shes deaf in her right ear and has hard hearing in her left due to being a cleft affected child. We're excited. We use to watch youtube videos and can't wait to learn more!

VERY GOOD PRODUCT. THE WORDS ARE WRITTEN VERY LARGE; ANY YOUNG INFANT/TODDLER/CHILD CAN SEE THEM WHICH IS A PLUS. MY KIDS LOVE IT AND IT'S VERY EDUCATIONAL AND TEACHES A WIDE RANGE OF SIGNS THAT ARE VERY USEFUL. IGNORE ANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS AND CHECK THIS VIDEO OUT AT YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY TO TRY IT OUT YOURSELF, BEFORE BUYING IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS. IT'S TERRIFIC! ANOTHER GOOD PRODUCT IS BABY SIGNING TIME WHICH IS MORE MUSICAL, UPBEAT AND HAS MORE ENERGY (THE WORDS AREN'T WRITTEN AS LARGE THOUGH. IT'S REALLY A PREFERENCE THING. NO MATTER WHAT YOU BUY, YOU CAN'T GO WRONG HAVING "TALKING HANDS" IN YOUR VIDEO HOME COLLECTION.

Obtained to boost son's delayed speech...he loves this DVD & enjoys saying 'Grandfather' as he signs - so we are very happy. We appreciate the diversity of the children, adult actors & signers in the video, so he has full immersion of content. Thx.

While I generally regard any video that encourages sign with childrena good thing, I have to say that I just don't think this one is one of the best. I've seen the foreign language tapes in this series and they are awsome. If only this tape followed the same succesful approach. True, there are many signs taught but the pace is just too slow. There is too much time spent on single words - over and over again. My little ones were bored after the first few minutes. My advise is speed it up. Children learn rapidly. Don't expect a child to sit still for this tape.

このビデオはアメリカのサインランゲージ（手話なのかな？）を教えてくれます。ビデオには実写の大人や子供がでてきてサインランゲージをするので、何回か見ているうちに子供が真似をし始めました。英語の発音もかなり出てくるので語学の面でもおすすめです。
