Nice display
Old fashioned charming and simple wooden stand display. Does not distract from beauty of Violin. It is simple and easy to remove my Violin for quick impromptu practice . I will order an additional one for my other Violin.as well. Nice product I appreciate it.!

Not bad, but not the best for the money
I inherited my grandfather's fiddle, and wanted to display it with the case. I ordered a few different types of stands, intending to keep the best and return the others.I chose NOT to keep this one. There's nothing wrong with it, but it seems cheap and cheesy when compared to others that were similarly priced. It comes in plastic packaging like you would expect to see at Walmart.Probably just fine for most, I just found nicer and sturdier ones for the same price.

it's a great value, and I would buy it again if ...
I am smitten with this stand. It's made of a hard plastic and comes in five separate pieces: the two ends and the three pieces that interlock the ends together. Assembly took me maybe five minutes and was relatively simple and straight forward. The pieces attach by clicking into place, and you actually have to use a decent bit of force to get them to connect securely. I was worried the pieces might snap as hard as I was having to use quite a bit of force to get them to connect. Granted, I don't really have too much in the way of upper body strength, but it was slightly difficult in that regard. However, my worries were unfounded as I am patently not strong enough to snap that plastic! If you buy this, don't worry about using as much force as you need to.Once assembled, I couldn't wait to put my concert ukulele ( Kala KA-EBY-C Ebony Concert Ukulele Natural ) on the stand to see how she faired. It supports the weight of almost two pounds with ease. Also, and it may just be the lighting in my house, but the finish looks much more natural and less plasticky in reality than it does in the photos shown for this listing.Overall, it's a great value, and I would buy it again if I ever get a sister uke! I'll add more pictures that show the stand at a better angle as soon as I can :)

Excellent violin stand!!
I actually bought three of these stands for my ukuleles and they are exactly what I want. They have a nice streamlined look, lightweight but sturdy, and convenient to use. They also pack up and travel easy. I imagine they would work equally as well for violins (for which they were intended), and I highly recommend them.

Really useful, a little overpriced.
Serves its purpose well, fits my Ibanez concert size ukulele without any trouble. Made of plastic and rubber and comes flat in one of those thin hard plastic packages with the crimped edges which are impossible to open without scissors. The assembly is very straightforward as you only need to snap on the little plastic supports. I like being able to have my ukulele on the stand so I can pick it up and put it down whenever. Definitely a little overpriced at $16, and I certainly wouldn't pay more than that. (some sellers asking for $30!)

I wish these were better
I bought two of these for my concert and soprano Ukuleles. I didn't realize how small the stands would actually be compared to my Ukes. The stands are made from plastic and seem a bit flimsy for me. Would not be useful or convenient if taking these to a gig or traveling.

Great things come in small packages!
Yes this seems overpriced! I thought the same thing but this little guy (yes it's smaller than you think) is a beautiful solution for securing my Uke and allowing you to focus on the instrument not the holder. It's plastic yes but looks like a red wood it's subtle and very effective. Ordered one for my concert Uke and immediately regretted not getting one for my Tenor (fixed that thank you Amazon Prime). It holds them both solidly Now I want one for a soprano I have coming. Somebody help me I can't stop! Lol. Highly recommended if you want a sturdy solution that does its job and yet doesn't take away from the beauty of your instrument.

Great Little Stand for Displaying a Uke
I have a Kala KA-15S uke, and I had been storing it in the living room in the box, which didn't look very cool. This little (VERY little — you can't imagine how small it is until you get it) stand is the perfect solution. The uke fits on it perfectly — you barely even SEE the stand, and it sits pretty securely. I wouldn't suggest this guy if you were actually taking the thing out to gig, but for displaying it beautifully in the home, it's a winner. It's not real wood, but it LOOKS like it. I doubt you could tell from a few feet away. Very nice piece of work. Highly recommended.

Lightweight stand for a small uke
I wasn't sure whether to give this 3 or 4 stars, but I'm in a mean mood.I have 4 ukes, two on wall hangers, which are, in my opinion, the best, safest way to store and display these instruments. I have a tenor on an X-frame stand, which I think is better than this - sturdier and more attractive. But it does have quite a large footprint, and I wanted something to fit in a small space to hold my soprano. This is very small, and therefore fits the bill nicely. However, it feels to me to be much less stable than the X-frame, and holds the uke much more upright, and thus, potentially, topple-prone. It is a very lightweight plastic, and is probably best suited to a soprano uke, rather than larger instruments. It is in a wood tone, but couldn't be mistaken for wood, even at a casual glance. It snaps together in seconds - it took me longer to break open the blister pack than to assemble the stand. In summary - if you only have a small space for your stand - say on a bookcase - this is a good choice, but if you have room, I'd go for an X-frame design, or, ideally, a wall hanger.

Instrument stand does what it says.
To be honest this took me a while to assemble, but once completed, this is a great safety stand for ukes, banjos etc. and the rubber edges provide good protection for instruments - this is more of a home stand than a travelling one for regular dismantling, but offers very secure support.

Very small
Tiny! Only just fits my soprano uke on it, actually wanted it for my tenor ukelele but my tenor is too big. Only buy this if you have a small uke. Easy to put together and feels sturdy. Doesn’t fold away or adjust, rigid.
