Leviton41106-RI6 Voice Grade QuickPort Connector, Ivory

This opens telco wiring to the QuickPort world. So, you can use this to put telco and ether on one wall plate. Among other useful shenanigans.I'm using it with two bonded VDSL lines for one socket at a modem location, and a separate inside-the-house only pair off a VOIP box for POTS service throughout the home. No risk of a ring signal hitting the VOIP box.There is a clear color chart so you know what you're punching down to, and a wire cap is included.I used a manual punch-down tool sold by Leviton, but you should be able to use "real" powered tools as well.There is no bundled DSL filter here; if required for your situation, that is external.

I know Leviton made them, but the box stores near my couldnt get any. It works. It matches. It's good.

I used two of these while rewiring my house to a home run network and cable TV setup. Use was super easy.Pros:- Easy-to-follow color coding on the pin-outs. I connected it using the blue and blue/white wires in Monoprice UTP Cat6 cable and connected them to pins 3 and 4 (line 1) on the connector. Some Youtube videos helped me figure it out.- Easy to punch down with the TRENDnet 110 Punch Down Tool.- Snapped in very tightly to a Shaxon 4 Port Single Gang White Keystone Wall Plate and a Monoprice Keystone Jack Panel.Cons:- There's no built-in zip tie strain relief.

I have been re-doing all my wall plates and setting them up with configurable plates (to allow for more things to be there). I have even used these at my parents house to upgrade some of their wiring. I will warn you though, the more ports you have on a wall plate the harder it is to get them all in there. I have found 4 is difficult and would not recommend going higher than that. Once you get them in, these things stay in well. All in all, they are very good if you want configuration options like me. They make all sorts of port options, so there is plenty for whatever your purpose might be.

Typical puggable jack, but no problems. Seems solid, color charts are correct, and fits standard modular plug unit. Good choice.

Snaps into keystone wall plate perfectly. All wires connected. Wire cover installed... Works well. Sounds good. No hiss or crackle or static. Pretty simple. Used 24awg solid copper core cat6 line because that's all we had and it's easy peasy and working.
