I recently purchased a new mirrorless camera with wifi capabilities. The wifi works pretty well until you are trying to pull a weekend's worth of images and movies from the camera. This card adapter was just what I needed for my macbook. It's completely plug-and-play with the card showing up as a mounted drive. The speed is ultra-fast. Maybe this is trivial, but I also like the fact it is metal and matches the color of my macbook. Great product at a great price. I couldn't be happier with the purchase.

I had an SD card reader similar to this which went missing, and man I wish I knew where it was. Purchased this thinking it was similar enough, but I was very wrong. This thing has been nothing but glitchy trouble since I took it out of the box. First off, the SD card slot is barely big enough to fit the card in and I end up being afraid to press the card properly into the slot because I don't want to damage them. When hooked up to my brand new Android phone, the USB drive functionality is so spotty and temperamental that I need to leave it lying completely flat to actually see my pictures. Even then, the reader has a problem interfacing with my device and will often say "photo unavailable". Cheap plastic and 1000 glitches. You can find a better version somewhere on Amazon.

This reader works well and most of all, is easy to carry allowing me to have file transfer capability when away from home and the office.

It works just as it's supposed to. Really happy with it and would recommend it.

I was looking for a sd card reader for my iPad Pro, there is literally hundreds to choose from, I think I picked the correct one as it’s lightweight and also handles both full size and micro SD. Good price for the product as well 👍🏻

I found that it took longer than the Apple adapter to find and connect to the photo app storage. I am using the latest OS and the latest 12.9 inch IPad Pro.Why is it so slow?
