PAC LPGL-2 L.O.C.PRO Series 2-Channel Ground Loop Isolator/Line Output Converter with 3.5mm Input

Hey guys, I was also skeptical about using this product in my home recording studio. Well, i am here to tell you, get this little guy at once if you have RFI interferences or in general a "chatty" computer sound card. I am giving them 5 stars just on the quality of the product although i should really dock a star for not providing better pictures in the listing.let me do the honors ....The two wires that you see in the photo are for additional grounding if you need to. Usually you don't need them. but in case you have to ground this unit use them. The box comes with two 3.5mm headphone sockets (again i wish they will include a photo showing that) marked as line-in and line-out. the labeling is actually on the bottom of the box. The unit comes with 3 cables. One of them is a straight 3.5mm male to 3.5mm male which is what i used to connect the box in-between my computer line-out and the sound mixer. And walla !!! the chirping, scratchy static just vanished into thin air. anyway, There are two additional cables which will allow you to connect 3.5 mm male stereo to a stereo RCA cable. One cable has RCA males and the other RCA females. One caution i would suggest is please use an expensive shielded cable to connect from this box to your destination. Because you don't want to take a chance of a poor quality cable producing some noise after this box has filtered it.so there you go folks. i would highly recommend this product to eliminate any type of noise on the line and give you a clean sound for your audio listening pleasures. Desktop PC connected to 4K via HDMI - Tv audio connected to powered subwoofer via 3.5mm (headphone jack) to RCA - Subwoofer connect to studio monitors via RCA. Result in buzzing of speakers while PC on. Connected unit with included 3.5mm to 3.5mm interconnect from TV headphone to unit input and then my existing 3.5mm to RCA to unit output. Result - no more buzz. If there is any loss in gain or bass it appears to be minimal and worth the deletion of the buzzing. Nicely built and packaged unit, doesn't feel like a generic import that you find labeled under several different brand names. Frequency response range specs great if accurate .

This is a pretty well built product, but it didnt solve my problem

Added a new stereo recently and with it I suddenly had a really bad and annoying alternator whine. Installed one of these for both front and rear pre-out channels and the whine is gone. Didn't even need to run the grounding wires anywhere, altho at some point I probably will for peace of mind.

Honestly, it works better than I expected. I use this to connect a tablet to my car stereo. It completely fixed the ground loop problem, without even having to ground the wire.

Works great. Got rid of the annoying alternator hum when listening to music through the aux jack with my phone.

There are tons of these on amazon, most are so poorly made theres no possible way they could ever do what they claim. This one actually works, it eliminates the ground loop and the hum it causes. It comes with a 3.5mm male to male connector, one 3.5mm male to stereo RCA female connector, and one 3.5mm to stereo RCA male connector. The unit itself has two 3.5 female jacks on it, so out of the box its ready to connect to the most common audio equipment without purchasing any additional cables, while also giving you the choice of whether you want to connect it on the source or receiver side. For extra noise elimination this unit even comes with wires to ground itself, but unless you have massive amounts of current going across your audio line, it wont be necessary.Audio quality is unaffected. Most of these isolators use tiny, low quality mostly plastic transformers, if they arent a straight up scam products with fake electronics inside (Generic plastic cylinder counterfeit brands, im looking at you).In short, if you are in the market for an affordable ground loop isolator dont make the same mistake I made multiple times. BUY THIS ONE. The information is lacking and the product page sucks, but unless you have so much power flowing across the lines your only hope is an optoisolator, this is the product you want.

I was having strange noises whenever anything it was connected to my amplifier while charging. This device completely solved it. No apparent loss in audio quality.

I previously ordered a different ground loop isolator device but had problems with it. This one works perfectly and as advertised, eliminating the high-pitched sound made by my car's alternator with no loss of audio quality. Note that it comes with several styles of connector, and in particular it comes with headphone mini jack connector (not shown in any of the pictures) and the male-male patch cable. Great build quality.
