Suede Leather Chisel Roll - 8 Pocket, Water Resistant & Compact Tool Organizer - Tan

Bottom line is that I’m satisfied with the product (Made in Great Britain).Stars on durability I gave based on how it is made. I use it to protect chisels when doing a job off-site. Yes, the leather is a little stiff (other reviewers) but it’s new and not a special processed soft version. Purpose is to protect tools and get them in and out w/o too much hassle. That said, I can slide them in and out w/o effort. My widest chisel in picture is 26mm and 11” long. Can hold chisels up to 12” maybe 12.5” long.Leather is about 1/16” or 1.6mm thick. This is the ultimate suede leather tool organizer. Thick, soft leather of this roll-up chisel carrying case has sewn slots to keep your tools separated and organized. I believe it will last my lifetime and can be passed down to one of my children.

I really like the material and quality that seems to have gone into it for the price. I only have one little complaint that the layer for the pockets/slots is stitched completely flat against the back layer. Other than the big end pockets, it makes it a little hard to fit thicker tools into them. My chisels for example only go in blade first. I wanted to turn one upside down to make it roll easier and put the handle in first but the pockets are too tight to allow the handles in only the blades. But the chisels I have do have some exceptionally large handles so I almost shouldn't even be knocking a star off for that. I just wish they would have folded up the layer forming the front of the pockets while stitching to make them a little more of "pockets." Still an excellent product though.

I shopped and shopped for this product. There are a bunch out there but none but this one that appears to have had actual thought involved before it was made. Here is what is great about it. It is big enough! I have five craftsman chisels that I have had for over 25 years. They are sharp and hold an edge. They fit perfectly in the pouch and have room at the bottom so they do not rest on the bottom of the slot to cut into the leather. The flap on top is large enough to cover the handles completely so they are not exposed. the belt strap is long enough to secure the roll. I love it and can't say enough good things about it. If you need to keep fine tools in good condition this tool roll is perfect. Way to go guys!

Perfect for my wood chisels

There is literally nothing that I didn't like about this tool roll-up. Top quality leather, sized right for chisels and the price plus shipping is less than what I'd expect to pay for a similar product. The tie isn't even a tie...it's a belt complete with buckle and punched just as one would expect a belt to be. I may be ordering a second in the not-too-distant future. You can't go wrong with this product.

Nice large pockets easily fits almost any chisel you would want. Just bought another one for my mortice chisels. Buckle and strap could be a little more beefy but they still work great.

This is an okay tool roll for flat wood working chisels, but the curve and sharpness of my carving chisels would shred this fast. Also, a reviewer compared this to the Stanley sweetheart tool roll, let me say other than the color the difference is night and day in quality and thickness of the leather, stitching and rivets on my Stanley are far superior in my opinion.
