The author provides an understandable overview of the core principals that are most responsible for the exceptional success of 3G Capital. He opens the hood on each principal in order to show where 3G got the initial idea from (many stemming from GE under Jack Welch, Goldman Sachs, Toyota and/or Sam Walton's autobiogrpahy), how they went about initiating it into their company's DNA and the tactics they use to continuously emphasize the principal throughout the course of each year.I feel that the author's prospective while writing his book was a great help in providing the reader with actionable takeaways that can be applied in their business, regardless of the industry and also aspects of ones personal life.You'll read deep into the following ideologies that are very present at 3G:-Dream-setting, goal-setting, task-orientation-Clarity on expectations and accountability-Benchmarking and copying the best practices of others-The importance of betting big on your best people-Meritocracy and the ability for great people to achieve wild success-Operational efficiency-What 3G looks for when evaluating a potential acquisition3G is a phenomenal story of an unassuming small group of men based in Brazil who over decades have created one of the world's largest and most successful consumer brand conglomerates.Thanks for all of your hard work Francisco S. Brief & effective summary! For those who does not have time to read Dream Big
Nice summary and good hints to understand the management style of trio. Read the more comprehensive book Dream Big. This book is a short cut. Still I liked it a lot, thanks for the author to pick up the most relevant topics of trio's management style and writing a readable nice and learnable book. Plus thank you for him to give extra resources to read.

This book really provides a great look into how it became so
This book provides some keen insight into the mind set of the men who make up 3G. The culture they foster and how they treat their employees seems a bit of something out of a boiler room. I was really conflicted reading this book. As a shareholder of Heinz, before their take over, to present day, I have seen enormous turnover and cost cutting. The reputation of this group is very clear. This book really provides a great look into how it became so.

Quick read.
A quick read, good for those who don't have time to delve deep into many of the other books that have been produced by and about the 3G guys. I was able to finish this while flying for work--read half on the plane there and half on the way back. Some really good basic principles.

As a AB Inbev shareholder I liked it very much.
I loved the book. Some critical review points that it's too simple, but that is exactly what the author proposes himself to do at its start. I loved how concise and objective the book was, and how it amalgamated all the content that is sparsely available on the internet into a reference manual. As a shareholder of Anheuser Busch, I recommend it.

Strange to read years after it’s written
Long term principles are one of the main thought principles of the book, but with years in the rear view since this has been written it seems perhaps the 3G model had not performed as well as dreamed of.Of course this may turn around. Conglomeration of ideas which were taken from others may not make you a genius.

Good for business improvement
First chapters are gonna bore you a little bit but after that there are things gets better. There are a lot of interested hints for those managers who think about business and profits. Excellent to understand the a successful business in the long term

Sehr gutes Buch, tolle Einblicke. Leicht zu lesen. Die Arbeitsweise von 3G ist einzigartig aber wenig bekannt, daher sehr lesenswert.

Me ha resultado una lectura muy práctica para conocer mejor todo el tema de 3G y su modelo de management, me ha aportado muchas ideas y lo considero muy documentado, como "manual de uso" está muy bien y además se sale del típico libro de negocios, veo muy positivo tener experiencias de otros lugares y que no todo sea de USA

Racconta la storia di 3G e i principi sui quali portano avanti le aziende. Si fa principalmente riferimento al caso di AB Inbev e poco e nulla a KraftHeinz. Utile da leggere per conoscere le logiche manageriali. Inglese di livello medio e comprensibile.
