Size Matters
There is nothing wrong with this tent if you live in a country where it never rains and all you do is sleep. However for UK conditions you need space to live as well and that means storing wet kit, getting changed, cooking etc and the porch on the Nevis 100 simply isn't big enough for any of that. I lasted one night in this tent in dry weather and then it went straight onto a well known auction site.

Just the ticket
Cracking little tent, just perfect for solo days away. Nice and light and stands up to overnite rain in Scottish Cairngorms.

Fantastic Budget One Man Tent
As expected this is an ideal one man tent on a budget. Quality is good and only took 10 mins to pitch. Ideal for my bike packing adventures.

The Blade 100 Is better and virtually the same price
I needed a tent in a hurry so purchased this one as a 2nd tent for a camping trip. I have a Vango Blade 100 and to be honest, I don't know why I didn't just buy another Blade as its virtually the same price and now I've tried both, the Nevis is not as good.Why?1: It just doesnt pitch right. There are some very saggy sections of the fly sheet once the tent is all pitched and tightened up. This is likely to be noisy in a wind.2: Small porch area... in fact the porch is pretty non-existent, its certainly not big enough for a 40litre + rucksack.3: Fiddly tension system that gets in the way when entering/exiting the tent4: No available footprint from supplier (they make them for their other tents, but not this one)Don't get me wrong, its still good value, which is why I have given it a 3... but the same company makes a better tent for virtually the same price. Buy the Blade 100, its better.
