Texas InstrumentsTI-Nspire CX II CAS Color Graphing Calculator with Student Software (PC/Mac)

I was trying to find a graphing calculator for an online calculus class that I was taking. The class went all the way from precalculus to Triple integrals, gradients, curl, divergence, Green's theorem, and so on. In doing the research online, it seemed that many if not most recommended checking out this Ti calculator. I got it and used it for the class. I was amazed at how easy it was to put in the nested integrals. It handles coordinate changes easily and has really good graphing capability. The bonus has been the online software that comes from Texas Instrument education website. It has a nice emulator or screen capture function. Really good help system and guidebook for functions. Excellent instrument and good replacement for my Ti Voyage 200 that crashed after 20 years.

I bought the Texas Instruments TI-Nspire CX II CAS at my son’s request. It’s definitely pricey, but the features and performance make it worth every dollar. Perfect for advanced math and science courses. Happy with the purchase!

College Board has changed their rules. Starting in August 2025 you can no longer use any CAS calculator (any calculator with symbolic algebra capabilities) on the SAT exam. As of today (June 3, 2025), it looks like you can still use them for AP exams.The calculator itself is great, but you may not be able to use it on exams.

Awesome calculator required for higher math. Electrical Engineering Students must have!

Saw many reviews about the battery not working straight out the box and got concerned. Took it out the box and plugged it into my laptop to charge, after 20 mins stays on 0% and dies after being unplugged. I then take out the plastic battery tag in the back and then plug it into an outlet. After 30 mins it still stay 0% and dies when unplugged. I left it charging for an hour and it still says 0%, but this time when I take it off the charger it stays on. After a few minutes when I looked at it it then said 75%. I've had it for a few days now and its working perfectly fine. Also when I contacted support to get a new battery (before I realized it was fine) they gave me a phone number to call and when I called it the person was so confused and said that Amazon should NOT be giving out their number to help. I hope everyone calculator works even after the heart attack it gave me in the beginning.
