This isn’t the same salt
So, this salt has changed. I was first introduced to it in a Whole Foods about 4 years ago, and fell in love with it. If you do a lot of cooking, you realize that having the right salt is critical, and once you learn the salt (the grain size, the volume, how it sprinkles, how it crunches on a tomato), it’s about as close to required as a good kitchen knife. So this was my go to salt for years. At the start of the pandemic, it was super hard to get. WF stopped carrying it, and I had to resort to ordering from Amazon when it was in stock, or Walmart, or even EBay at a mark up. Then, about 6 months ago, I found out the manufacturer sells it directly, and they had a discount! I ordered twelve bottles. And - it’s not the same salt. The label is the same, it looks close from the outside, but this salt is *much* finer than it used to be. That means that when my hands are slightly wet, it sticks to my fingers. It doesn’t fall on a steak the same way.I’ve fumbled around and gone through three bottles of this stuff in as many months, and I have to look elsewhere. I will toss the other 9 bottles, and look for a new salt. It breaks my heart, but every quality that made this salt *my* salt is gone and has been replaced by an imposter. I’m sure this salt is fine for some folks, but now I’m on a quest to find the perfect salt again. I hope I find it.Natierra, it was great while it lasted.

Great salt, nice clean finish. I love the grinder as well.

False advertising.
Labelled "non-GMO". Turns out that salt isn't even an organism, let alone a non-genetically modified organism? Was very disappointed.
