This container was exactly the size and shape I wanted to use for my Emergency Kitchen supplies. Living on the San Andreas Fault my whole life and being married to a Scoutmaster who taught the Troop Emergency Preparedness 40 years ago, I have been putting our own supplies together ever since! I am not living in fear, but I do believe in Being Prepared. So, In addition to the basic First Aid kit, I have everything on the “Advanced” list as well. If the “Big One” comes, and we have to go into survival mode, I want to survive in comfort. In addition to a six month supply of dehydrated food for my husband and myself, tent, sleeping bags, tools, an out house with potty and disposable bags, a camping kitchen with water purifying straws, flint and steels, long Bic lighters, and solar radios and lanterns etc. THIS bin is for Plastic sheeting and Duck Tape, a dozen mosquito bracelets, six boxes of 24 N99 dust masks, six pair of work gloves, a box of disposable gloves, an address book, copies of all our insurance, medical tax and bank records, extra flashlights, including solar ones. Books on urban survival, Boy Scout Field Book, three more survival books, water purification tablets, packets of hand heater chemicals, knit caps, sun screen, bug spray, extra chargers for phones and iPad, work boots. CashLong rope and 20ft of chain with and extra collar for the dog. Extra lg. Dish for feeding him. Dog brush. This container is for the misc. that isn’t packed in all the other ones that are packed and labeled and ready to go. I’m hoping that I thought of everything so we won’t need ANY of it!!
