How to Start and Run an eBay Consignment Business

This is a great book with tons of info to get you started. It is so easy to read and written well. I was hanging on every word and re-reading it to soak it all up. I actually think there could have been more info. I have not ventured onto his website yet. That might be my answer for the additional info I need. I think he gave you all the basics, his opinion and his experience. And then not to bore people he gives you resources to find more info. The sample forms in the back and great. I would definitely recommend this book.

Although Ebay has blossomed considerably, this is a good general reference for new Ebay entrepenuers. These days, official consignment specifically for Ebay is franchised by Ebay, so you can't just hang your shingle. Some States now have laws governing consignment shops.Nonetheless, I found it helpful in my early online sales days and helped us take on consignment-type sales for friends and family.

Had a couple of worthwhile bits of advice, but overall this is a satellite view of running an ebay business, no real specifics about the details of running the business that are difficult to figure out when starting from scratch. The sample agreements were useful but I'm sure I could find equivalent on a google search. Not worth the price.

This is a fantastic book! It is a very truthful and open approach to this business. Definitely something to take a look at considering all of us could use some extra income in this new economic market. If you are looking for information about the tools and systems you will need to consider if you are going to think about selling other people's stuff ... this is the book to get.

Unfortunately, as with many good thing eBay used to do, they have discontinued their consignment seller program.However, this book still has some good tips, even though a small percentage is now irrelevant.eBay, if they continue down their ragged road to ruin, will be completely irrelevant quite soon. What a shame!More reason for people to jump ship to the now superior Amazon to sell their wares.

A lot of good info. event though this book was written in 2006 i believe a lot of the principles he talks about still work today.

Theis book on starting and running an E-Bay consignment business provides the basics as well as many essential hints on how to start and successfully run an E-Bay consignment business. Highly reccomended.
