I thank Laura for translating the writings of Zawahiri. In the sense of giving the non-arabic speaker a window into the writings of a radical terrorist the book achieves its purpose.

It would have been better if it had an index or even a table of contents, but as translations of Zawahiri's writing, it's excellent.

This book reads like it was written in prisons and caves, which it was. Having said that, if you can wade through it, you get the vision of Al Qaeda as it is articulated by one of its founders. The "War on Terror" is essentially a war against the ideas presented in this book, which serve to mobilize young men and women to attempt to kill as many westerners as possible. Appears to be well translated.

An excellent compilation of the writings of Dr. Ayman Al Zawahiri, Osama bin Laden's "second in command". A must read for all tasked with defending our nation from the dangerous threat of Global Jihad, and those who have an interest in understanding our enemies.
