An Amish Cradle, By: Beth Wiseman, Amy Clipston, Kathleen Fuller, Vannetta ChapmanWhat an amazing collection of stories by some truly talented authors! All four of the stories touched me in one way or another. They put such heart and compassion into their stories. Their stories shined like stars they were so well written! It just amazes me that their stories that they write just seem to get better and better. Bravo ladies! 5 stars!! Be sure to get your copy today. It also makes a great gift!In His Father's Arms, by Beth WisemanA story of love and acceptance of their first born child having Down Syndrome. The need to know why God and understand his plan for them. This story brought me to tears. Bravo!A Son for Always, by Amy ClipstonThe title of this story drew me to it as I am the mother of four boys. Though two are grown and living on their own. The struggle to accept help when needed is a hard thing to do. Especially when you have done it on your own for so long.A Heart Full of Love, by Kathleen FullerA story that deals with a over bearing and protective mother. She is doing what she thinks is right by trying to protect those near and dear to her from any harm.An Unexpected Blessing, by Vannetta ChapmanThis is the story dealing with a pregnancy later in life and the difficulty of an estranged estranged son. The not know where he is or how he is doing. This was also a very emotional story for me. I had the lost of a child and had another baby the following year. It was a very scary time of my life. Very well written. The feelings of this mother and father in the story were so real to me. An outstanding story! If you would like to know more about Beth Wiseman or her books please visit her website. These ladies did a wonderful job. I started crying within the first few minutes of reading Beth Wiseman' s 'In His Father's Arms.' It was a tumultuous journey for Ruth Anne and Levi as they welcomed Baby Joshua into their lives and dealt with his challenges.Amy Clipston' s 'A Son for Always,' was beautifully told. Carolyn' s worries concerning Joshua' s acceptance of his adopted 16 year old son, once Sadie Liz was born, were completely irrational.'A Heart Full of Love,' by Kathleen Fuller is an amazing story of a young blind mother's ability to care for her new born twin daughters.Vannetta Chapman's 'An Unexpected Blessing,' is a wonderful book about older parents, Etta and Mose birth of their 8th child, Hannah, and the way GOD chose for her to enter the world. Life is full of blessings and they intend to enjoy every one of them.

Love this book
I love this book and all of the stories are by my favorite authors. Great stories on love, faith, and patience to follow God's will. He is love and will show you t he way th a life full of grace and love. Babies are the greatest joy and the mirror of God's love for the human race. Take time to be with them in the fullest context. Don't worry about what gets done when and just enjoy your babies.

I noted that the plot was predictable but it is how I want Amish fiction to be. I want to read a calm book where I can get away from reality for a while. The book is predictable in the sense that the main characters usually have some type of happy or peaceful ending and that God plays an important part in their everyday life as well as how the plot resolves in the end of each story. I love how all the short stories tie together with a common theme.

A Special Child
A young Amish couple have a baby born with Downs syndrome. This book deals with how they are handling having a child with special needs. Also how they are dealing with each other. It is a very emotional read. But a very worthwhile one.

Wonderful Read
I love the book.Especially when I didn't realize that there was another book in the Lancaster Grand Hotel series, and I made the connection through the characters. Like, "Hey, I know them!" I love books that are so well written that you can feel the characters!

I love Amish fiction
I love Amish fiction. These stories are calming, but do seem to have a common theme. Usually, they are a story of some kind of dilemma over staying Amish versus moving to the English world. Or they are stories of boy meets girl.

Cradles and Babies...always a blessing
Each one of these stories is totally different and totally different. Babies make changes in our lives in the best of circumstances. Learning to trust in God is what having babies can do to make adults grow.I had tears, smiles and laughter while reading these stories; which in way of thinking makes them excellent! I definitely recommend reading this book.
