Excellent bit of kit for the money
I bought this hammock for use when I go away on my motorcycle for camping trips. I was getting fed up of trying to cram a tent into my limited luggage space, so I decided to try a hammock/tarpaulin setup instead. After a bit of deliberation I went with the Covacure hammock as it has the integrated mosquito net which is self tightened with a piece of internal elastic and does not need a seperate paracord line to hold it up, which means less lines to worry about and makes set up much easier! Anyway used it 3 times now, its an absolute doddle to set up, pass the lines round the trees, clip on and you are done! I have also used a tarp over the top which actually takes longer to set up than the hammock itself. Packing away it comes with its own integrated pouch which it confortably fits back into without any hassle. It seems very robust and well made, I am 15.5 stone and just over 6' tall and have no issues with it supporting me. As for comfort it is very good and I slept really well each time, although when using a sleeping bag it does take a bit of practice to get into the sleeping bag and get into a comfy position in the hammock. Some people have said it can get a bit cold on the underside but I have not found this, although I do use a very heavy duty military issue sleeping bag so this probably helps alot. I have also recently taken to using it in my garden and put 2 fixed eye bolts in my fence posts at home so I can put it up for a little siesta, my daughter loves playing in it too! The bug net is great and keeps out all but the smallest of the scottish midgies but I would say irs about 95% effective! I did give it a squirt of bug spray last time and nothing made it through. Overall a very good purchase for the price and a hell of alot simpler than a tent, highly reccomended.

Fantastic!! BUY IT!
Honestly where do I start. YES it feels thin. YES it’s a cheap price. Does it work? Fantastically. Is it comfortable? YES. Recently been out a few times wild camping around the UK and it is a wonderful bit of kit. Compact. Lightweight. EASY to set up. Purchased it on a whim to see if I’d enjoy it and how good it can be, for £20ish if it’s rubbish oh well but it was AMAZING. Buy it! There is no doubt about it. I’ve recommended it to all my friends. Loved it so much I purchased a second one for my puppy, I strongly recommend not having sharp hooking objects when in use, one rip and I imagine it will be done for but general camping out and about it was really a headache curing event. You will want warmer clothing as any hammock, underside gets cold at night however you can get hammock under sling covers for thermal reasons. 11/10. Cannot suggest it enough! NO I did not receive this for free I just genuinely enjoy the product and want everyone to hop on this amazingly priced item.

Impressive, lightweight, deep and comfy
I’m fortunate to have two big trees in my garden that are the ideal width apart to have a hammock set up between them, and for the last 15 years, I’ve spent many a warm day enjoying being outside, reclined comfortably in a hammock, whiling the day away in chilled out bliss. I’ve had a few hammocks over the years, of different styles and materials. I bought this one because it would be the first I’ve had with a mosquito net and, even though we don’t really get mosquitoes here, it would keep other flying beasties like flies, wasps and the odd dragon at bay, lol. Setting the hammock up is simple, and one of the first things that impressed me was the adjustable tree straps with multiple holes for different heights, and the carabiner to attach to the hammock. My older hammocks all require you to wrap ropes round the tree at the exact height you want, so I appreciated the flexibility and convenience the straps offer. This hammock is incredibly lightweight, and you might think at first it might struggle to hold you. However, it happily holds my 6ft, 23 stone mass without any problem. It’s very deep, and you sink in to its welcoming embrace with ease. It’s very comfortable, I haven’t even been using a pillow for my head as I’ve done with my others. I’m disabled, after breaking my back years ago in an extreme sports accident, so don’t have a particularly strong lower back anymore… and this has created a bit of a problem with this hammock… because it’s so deep, and the lightweight structure tends to fold around you, I have more difficulty getting out of this hammock than any of my others, to the point where my efforts to get out look somewhat comedic to anyone watching. Yesterday I was stuck to the point where I was about to call a friend for him to come round and help me escape! I genuinely couldn’t get out. In the end, I managed, but it was by throwing myself backwards with my feet in the air and landing on my head and shoulder somewhat painfully on the rough ground below. Because of this, I won’t be using this hammock when I’m on my own anymore, I’ll be using my trusty old net hammock that I can dismount from easily and much more gracefully! Someone with a healthy back might not have any problem getting out, but this has never happened to me with any other hammock so it’s worth noting. If I have company who can help me get out, this will be my hammock of choice, but when hammocking solo, I won’t risk imprisonment again! That’s the only reason I’ve given this 4 stars instead of 5, in every other aspect it’s fantastic. I bought this hammock on a deal and it was an amazing price for the quality of the product received, even at full price it’s great value. I can recommend it fully, with just the getting out experience as a fact for caution, but it’s still a brilliant hammock, Two thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻
