Would my sony dcr-hc38 need a 4 pin to 4 pin connector? its 4 pin coming out of the camcorder. provided cable looks like 4 pin to 6 pin connector.

I believe the cable goes directly from the 6-pin connector on the card to the 4-pin connector on the camera.

When i capture video from dv cam, audio does not come clear. it's too much disturbance and noisy. i tried different software and computer too. help !!

This sounds like to me its either a card pci issue or 1394 port cable or min dv connector is dusty spray it with can free air
