Love it!
Magnetic back has it off counter hanging from magnetic knife rack, always visible easy to find red color and location. Can be seen across kitchen. Alarm is loud enough w/o scaring the beejesaysus out of you and not an annoying musical ditty like the new oven (CANT STAND DITTIES). Timer sound lasts about 10 seconds...long enough to be heard in the house, not so long you lose your nut. It's very easy to set and no batteries or electronics to wear out. I havent had it long enough to attest to the accuracy long term but it's doing fine now!

The little timer that could
Easiest mechanical timer out there. Believe me when I say I’ve bought a ton of different timers. My son is on the spectrum and timers are a must in our daily life. I’ve tried the time timer, the learning resource timer with the light, chicken kitchen timer, all kinds of kitchen timers, digital timers, timers that have lights, timer that need batteries and timers that don’t need batteries, you name it, I’ve bought it. What a waste of money.Buy this little timer, it will save you the trouble and headache of looking for the right timer. I’ll tell you what’s right about this one1) no need for a battery2) ring is loud enough to hear from another room, but it’s a short and sweet ring so it’s not too obnoxious3) It has a visual cue for how much time is left, similar to the time timer but at a fraction of the price4) This thing is metal. So no plastic parts that snap too easy when you turn it just a tad too far5) the magnet in the back of it is plain strong strong! It just won’t fall off, even If you Accidentally swipe Your body against it (like When it is on a fridge). You actually have to put some tug into pulling it off the surface of your fridge. So it does not have the danger of falling and breaking, or falling and bruising your foot for a week. Other less excellent timers have done that, Believe me, I know.Anyway, I got a bunch of these 2 per kid that I have. And one for me in the kitchen. All in different colors.

Green kitchen timer
I bought this because the timer on my oven is too quiet. This is fantastic and the timer is loud enough I can hear it in another room. The color is very nice as well.

(EDIT)Worked for a little less than 3 months, then stopped ringing. (Rebuilt it myself)
Great size, great price, and very cute; however, it only worked for a little under 3 months. A mechanical timer should work for a lot longer than that. We used this at dinner time to help enforce a timely conclusion to our daughter's dinner time, and it was brought out about 3- 4 times per week. As a strategy, it worked in helping her focus on her goal of finishing her dinner.Very unfortunate that the build quality doesn't last.FOLLOW UP: Sorry it has been a while, was just reviewing my reviews (oddly helpful practice actually) and wanted to come back to this. While I was very disappointed that the spring had come undone, I recognized that a mechanical timer is not rocket science, and I had nothing to lose if I took it apart and couldn't fix it. So, with a small.screwdriver and a lot of can-do attitude I was able to take the backing off and identify where the coils spring had slipped off, releasing the tension necessary for a satisfying ring at the conclusion of the timer sequence. It now works, I have not had to do this again, and I dare say it may have been a one off, or maybe got roughed in shipping. The point is, their is quality there, just be aware that it can fail; and also be aware that you can likely fix it yourself.Happy tinkering!

Like It, But Doesn’t Ring
This is cool—the materials, colors and the way you can attach it to the refrigerator with a firm magnet. But it wasn’t dependable since the beginning, and then it quit ringing completely. Not happy cuz the return deadline was three weeks ago. :-(

Nice
It looks nice and works well. I am pleased that the ring is not too loud or too long.

Simple
I don’t like oven/stoves with digital panels. Today most of them have it. And if you need repairs, that always relates to digital panels.I cook. So I ordered my new stove as stripped out model. That means no computer board, no clock. Waited 2 months for new oven. I hated the oven does not function when you finish all prep and put meat or dough into oven. Then I need separate timer for oven cooking. This works it supposed to do. Simple and accurately let me know when time comes with old fashioned bell.
