Great product
Really solid, strong product.I redid the grout for the tiles at the rim of the pool. There was big holes and missing or almost gone grout along the entire pool edge. It looks so good now! Used little amounts and added water or more powder to get proper consistent. Wish I had a before and after. I did not try to do this under the water but there was very heavy rains after I applied and I didn’t lose any of itI’ve never really worked with grout before but it wasn’t hard at all.

Small batches to learn is the key
Takes a lot to impress me when it comes to things like this but woah I was really blown away. Only down side is I question the 10 sqft especially when the 10lb says it's 19 sqft, 3.3 sqft vs 1.9 sqft per pound for the exact same product, after use the 1.9 seems more correct. Anyway the product is messy, and takes some quick on the fly learning, start with disposable cups and spoons till you figure out the mix and application process. I didn't have an issue with quick curing like some have claimed, it did dry out and clump quickly but a quick splash of water thinned it back out. Dry time varied based on how wet the mix was, none of it really set in under 4 hours but after overnight it was fine. With 3lbs I managed to bond about a dozen tiles and fill the grout along about 5 foot of the exposed edge of my spa. I am going to get 10 more lbs and hopefully regrout all the pool tiles, my PH got out of balance over the winter and after expoy coating the gunite, so the tile grout was eaten away.Take your time, work in small batches and be confident in your ability and you can easily get professional results.

Watch the Video!
I used it for tile repair and grout for swimming pool border tiles, some above and some below water. The dry application is easier, but mix small batches, especially if it's over 80 degrees. It sets up fast in the heat. I'm not a professional tiler, and it took a while, but the results were beautiful. Definitely watch the video for the underwater application and be gentle when touching the grout underwater.

Easy to use, works well
I used this to reset a number of poorly installed tiles. It was great to be able to do so without draining the pool down. Worked well and the tiles are holding strong.

Be Careful of Home Much Water You Use. It Does Not Look Like It Will Last for Long Term
Watch how much water you use. It takes longer to mix to consistency and longer to dry. You don't want to waste too much cement. After drying and inspecting, I am not confident that this will last long. It seems to be flaking even though I filled a fair amount of cement and filled in the edges flush. I have let it sit for 3 days now and it feels fine for the moment. There is no "hollow void" sound when I give the tiles a knock but time will tell.If you are working with tiles above water level, it might be a better idea to buy EZ Patch 3 to cement the tile on the first day and use EZ Patch 4 as the tile grout on the second day. Also, the Amazon description mentions to put liquid bonder, however the bottle label on the EZ Patch 4FS has no mention of that. It only says to mix with water. EZ Patch 4 Tile Grout bottle mentions to put liquid bonder. So be careful of which one you order.Edit: It's now August 2023 and the tiles have started coming loose. So this stuff doesn't last long. I will have to use thinset cement and grout separately.

Easy and effective
I needed to reattach a handful of tiles around the waterline of a pool for a friend. I think there were about 7 tiles that needed attention. I took the time to chisel off residual grout from the tiles and doing a dry fit, before starting the bonding process. I used the EZPatch4 for bonding the tiles in place and for the grout around the perimeter. The EZPatch was easy to prepare and did a great job holding the tiles. Mix ratio is pretty sensitive and I had a tendency to bounce between undershooting thickness and then overshooting before getting the ideal 'mashed potato' texture. The grout was effective both above and below the waterline. The set up time was pretty fast (on the order of a few minutes) before it stiffened and solidified, but there was enough warning (gradual heating and thickening) to allow me to wrap up. I got the 3 lb container but could easily have gotten away with the 1 lb container.

Make very small batches because this stuff dries fast.
I am regrouting the tiles in my pool and it is a tedious job. This grout works, but it sets so fast that you dont have a lot of time to use it, so make small amounts and work fast. It goes on like regular grout above the waterline, but below the water it just washes away, so I use small chunks of the hardened grout for that inch that is below the surface. I put it up against the grout line and force it in, then I grout above it like normal. It is the only way I could get it to work.
