SEK9 Child Safety Kits are easy to use and have been scientifically-tested and successfully utilized by law K-9 responders to find missing persons. This essential and effective addition to your Family Safety Plan helps parents of children with Autism or family members with Alzheimer’s Disease protect loved ones who are at high risk for wandering. The American Pediatric Association states that 50% of children with Autism will wander at least once before age 17. Preparing a Child Safety Kit in advance will allow you to have an uncontaminated scent article readily available for K-9 responders. A person’s scent is as unique as their fingerprint and can last up to 10 years when stored in our scientifically-tested life-saving kit. Having a scent kit prepared can significantly increase a dog’s ability to locate a child and reduces the time it takes to bring them home safely.
