Easy to use clock
Easy to use and very intuitive to set. No instructions needed. has a nice alarm, starts slow and builds to a constant sound after a few seconds. Easy to hear, not too loud. Night light can be on or off, and if on does not illuminate the room and keep you awake at night, but is easy to see when you look at the clock. time characters are large and easy to see. Military time works great. Very nicely done and very usable.

WOW, this is a wonderful purchase and wonderful clock
I love, love, love this clock. My previous Marathon clock, which was an atomic one, could not be set properly.; it always defaulted to daylight saving time, even though I had it on MST for Arizona as we do not participate in daylight saving time (YIPEE). This clock is easy to set, has a backlight that is not too bright, but you can see the time at night., the numbers are big. I absolutely LOVE this clock. Thank you for making such a great, easy to set and easy to read clock.

Checks all the boxes!
Super easy to read, super easy to set and use. Alarm is very pleasant - wakes my hubby but doesn't wake me! Buttons are easy to access but not in a place where they can be accidentally changed. Just the right size; not fancy, but not ugly. Best feature? It shows both the actual time AND the alarm time that was set, so you can easily see if the alarm is set correctly, without changing from time to alarm. Use the nightlight or not. Great options, terrific clock! Only recommendation for improvement? Maybe some color choices for the case, but only if that did not increase the extremely reasonable price. Fantastic for seniors!

Display can be read in direct sunlight, and in pitch dark.
I was looking specifically for a clock that could be read regardless of the lighting. I have several LCD clocks that work fine when there is light, but can't be read in the dark. I have several LED clocks that work fine in the dark and dim lighting, but can't be read when the sun is shining into the room.I have the back light always on and have been running the clock for four months. It has kept time as well as a digital watch.It is very important that the display not be blue. Human eyes will not focus if the only light available is blue.I would have preferred a clock that is plugged into the wall so that it could use the AC power to keep time (power companies guarantee the same number of cycles each day precisely to keep electric clocks correct), or would set itself from WWV. Unfortunately I was unable to find any with this type of display. This is the only LCD clock I found with a continuous back light.

Super-straightforward, inexpensive, well-designed clock
I've had lots of bedside alarm clocks in my life, and this one is my favorite. It's battery powered (there is no outlet near my bed), with gigantic numbers, an appropriately dim light to illuminate the numbers at night (which can be turned off or on), and the simplest possible interface for setting time and alarm. I love everything about this clock, including its price.

Nice n Easy
I got this to replace a small bedside alarm clock I had. This one is larger than the one I had, but I really like being able to see the time better. The light at night is not too bright, it's just perfect. If you want it brighter, it's just a touch. The alarm is nice, starts with chirps instead of a blaring BEEEEEEEEPPPP. This is nicer but it is still loud. Snooze is easy with a touch of the button and setting it is easy peasy too. I'm happy with this purchase. Nice n Easy is what I was looking for.

Dim back light - But you WANT to do business with HOUBAY
Nice small clock, perfect size for my need only problem was that even with the night light on, I couldn't see the time. Site indicates "bright backlight". See photo! I've purchased 3 other clocks from Housbay, all of which are good quality and do exactly what they say they will. I'm sorry this one did not work out.I've returned the clock and have to say the Customer Service/follow up was nothing short of AMAZING. It's obvious they care about customer satisfaction. Other companies should follow the same customer service model.I'm still looking for a 4th clock but I'm one happy customer!

Works as advertised.
User friendly. Easy to set/change time or alarm. Some readers were concerned about the battery life if the back light is left on all the time. I have kept the light on for more than a month so far and the batteries are still functioning. The illumination is just bright enough to make it easy to read in the dark.

Readable screen, gentle light illumination at night
Was looking for a clock with big enough digits to see from a few meters away and that would not light up the whole room at night when the back-light is ON. This one does the job well!

Great little bedside clock.
This was an anniversary gift for my husband. It now sits on his bedside table where it doesn't take up much room. He especially likes that it doesn't stay lit, but he can quickly press a button and it will light and show the time during the night. We like your little battery clock very much. Thank you.

Perfect alarm
My dad loves this alarm so much. He’s very very picky with his alarms and this was perfect for him. The numbers are clear and bold. The alarm works perfectly fine. Batteries last long. Easy to use. Nothing too techy for my dad which is why he is comfortable with it. The lighting is perfect because it’s not so bright which is reasonable for when it’s night.
