Strong and well worth the money
I now have three of these. Just the right height for those of us with bad backs! I just wish I could find somewhere that sells just the trough without the cover, if I could I would certainly purchase at least two more and rotate the lids as needed.Although they do seem a bit expensive I think overall they are good value for money, another make I purchased arrived badly packed and had to be sent back, these are packed much better and therefore less likely to be damaged when received. If only I could buy some more!

Great item and worth the money
I'm using this as a propagator at the moment for strawberry and tomato plants. Will be putting veg seeds in pots as well to start them off. Arrived just in time, as day after I received it, we had hail, snow and rain where I live in Northern Ireland! It can also be very windy where I live, so used bungee cords to make sure the lid stays on - has proved successful so far! I have 2 joint and connective tissue disorders, and pain and mobility issues have mostly prevented me being able to do any planting in my garden, except in planters, etc, which can be lifted onto a higher surface. This mini greenhouse/planter is an ideal height for me , and involves no bending. It is compact enough to be placed on a path under my lounge window, and pots can be stood underneath it, untill they are needed to pot seedlings in. My son has similar joint/pain issues and attends a day centre for adults with physical and sensory disabllities, and they have a garden centre run as a social enterprise business, so he also enjoys gardening, and will use this planter as well. It was bought for us by my dad as our Easter present, and will definitely get plenty of use!!!

Expensive but sturdy
I'm only so far growing salads in it, and so far so great. My salad are growing at a crazy pace, with a lovely taste and colour. Very useful with the lid, I would even say you need it for more versatility. The shape can be adapted in many corners too and the box isn't too heavy to move. Overall, quite happy, except for the crazy price (not sure it's worth it)

Bought this to climatize my tomatoes prior to putting outside, now have carrots growing in it.

Keeps slugs out
This is a very useful planter as it keeps vegetables and herbs off the ground and away from slugs/snails/animals while they are still small. Would happily get another one. The only drawback is it doesnt' have drainage holes, but that's easily remedied. It was quite easy to make a few holes using a heated iron rod.

Bit pricey for what it is.
Planter seems to be sturdy enough. BUT…This so called ‘4-in-1’ planter does not included the lid, even though the description seems to clearly include it as does the description on the package. So not best pleased really at the price point. The lid does seem to be available to purchase separately but it’s rather expensive for what it is. Have contacted seller so look forward to their response.Edit:Seller is now sending out a replacement lid as it should have been included. Changing to 3 star rating now.

Great product
These planters look great and feel quite sturdy once you add gravel in the leg cavity and actually fill the planters with compost.I was a bit worried at first but now they’re in place, I love them. Really good size and there’s a decent sized cover too. ( optional)You do have to drill draining holes though. My local garden centre sells something similar for less money but it does feel like these will last at least a couple of seasons
