Its simply a great book on lean and very captivating and brings out both consumer and manufacturers view

It good read to all those with entrepreneurs and org leaders. It may not help directly but it's an perspective which can create wonders if one really understands for his own businesses. Starting is slow but I think it requires it. It is so boring to read those steps again again ...... Imagine ur customer actually doing it :) . It's n important point in my opinion. U feel the pain and only then one will learn to apply on ur org or idea. After all it's lean solution design needs wide thinking to ensure it solves it in lean way.

nice book to implement all the techniques and reduce waste. it teaches u well enough to cut down heavily on prices and increase profits for any organization.

I purchased this book from Books and Beyond, (at Spencer's mall, R. B. Avenue) Kolkata, at Rs. 495/- in 2008 during my final phase of MBA! I didn't read the other books by the same author duo, thereby so curious those days getting one in my hand!! It's a very read and really interesting book which I completed in just 4 days!!! The authors opined that in the modern complex economic system, the connection amongst businesd organizations and their customers were frail thereby both parties are 'losing'! Organizations loosing loyalties to customers and in turn customers experiences are not always good to get their required products and services! They suggested if customers and organizations would be both combined to create values for the former, there would be an win-win solution i.e. lean solution appeared! This is a necessary book for today's managers and corporate execs at large!

Com esta obra, pode-se entender melhor a aplicação dos conceitos lean.
