Minnetonka Women's Kilty Suede Hardsole Moccasin

I just got these and my first reaction is I really love them. The leather is light and the shoe is very comfortable. I am normally a 6.5 or a 7, so I ordered a 7.5. Sizing up like it was suggested by some of the reviews. I wish I had ordered a 7. They are a touch too big. That is not the shoes fault, though. And despite them being a little big, I’m going to keep them. The stitching seems solid and the soles of the shoes seem sturdy. I will most likely get another pair in another color, because they are so light and comfortable. To be clear, these are not shoes you’d wear on long hikes or day trip where walking is the main activity of the day. But for working in an office or around the house, perfect!If you are like me, you teeter between a 6.5 and 7, get a 7. Don’t size up any further than that. But again, not the shoe’s or the company’s fault at all.I had some shipping issues, but that wasn’t the company’s fault, or Amazon. USPS lost them for a few days. But I got them and I love them.

Order one size larger than normal-good advice. Fit was perfect...moccasins do adjust to one's foot shape within a couple of hours. The bows do become untied frequently - I have yet to glue them, but I will. Perfect red and very comfy. Quality packing too!

I love these moccasins, gorgeous shade of blue, very comfortable, but they were not wide enough.I regretfully returned them, as I knew that being not wide enough it would just break down the sides. I did purchase another style of their moccasins, bought two pairs, as they were wide wide moccasins, and they fit great, and I love them.

These are easy, slip on/slip off shoes for running errands, driving, and the office. They are comfortable and I don’t need to wear socks with them. The suede doesn’t rub my toes and the soles provide good stability and support.

I am not a flat wearer (I'm 35 and not had a pair since high school). I usually wear a size 10, sandles, casual sneakers and 9.5 in Adidas running shoes. I bought my first pair in a store. I picked up the 10's and way to big. 9.5 felt good for the time being and would of worked if I knew they were not going to stretch (lady at store tried telling me they would not). Anyways I left out of there with the 9 strangely enough. They were a bit snug and my toes were to the edge (if these were sandles I would have been hanging over.) I brought them home and wore them around the house (to break in). Before I started wearing them elsewhere I wanted to try them out without making them dirty (in case I changed my mind). I almost put them back in the box to return that night. They rubbed a bit and felt a bit to confining. I loosened the bow at the top (the tie runs around the back to make shoe tighter, not just for looks). So here I was day 2 and they were rubbing a bit more and making the top of my foot raw....grhhh. I was ready to return them and continue my search for some slip on shoes. I am so glad I didn't.....I wore them again the next day about half way through the day they changed into the most butter like leather shoes with a perfect fit. Point being they look better after they are worn and feel like shoes you have had for years after they are broken in. They do squeak a bit on my statined concrete floor but at this point everyone will have to get over it including me cause they feel awesome. Wear them as your house shoes for a couple of days and you will be good to go :)

These are NOT "Made in the USA". These are Made in the Dominican Republic. Perhaps at one time, they were made in the USA, but not only Mine were delivered stamped "Made in the Dominican Republic", but a quick look at the submitted review photos will demonstrate that there are no (or not many) made in the USA labels. This is Extremely Misleading! That Made in USA label is Very Important. We're paying American worker prices to see American workers to be paid a fair living wage. They can't just "cya" by writing "or imported" when they are Primarily Imported. They're Imported? I want to see that discount like I was shopping on Temu (which no one should be shopping on, btw).Now, quality? I was replacing a pair of Aerosoles. In comparison, the soles are narrower, so less overall stability there, but the upper is the same width. These are visually a tad longer, and in comparing my old, well-worn pair, to brand new and just out the box? Yes, everyone saying to size down is probably correct. However! If sizing down means you are stretching them to mold to your feet, hard to say if the stitching can take that. I see one reviewer talking about tightening them until they popped the seam! I wouldn't even imagine you could tighten shoes. I would be floored if the manufacturer was anticipating that. These are suede moccasins. They are meant to be loose, floppy, shuffling around shoes. They're not heels. It's not that vibe! Don't do that thing. I am sure we all know some chunky lady who insists on being a large in drawstring pants. No. She just doesn't understand baggy clothes or that simply wedging yourself into something is not the same as it fitting. You want foot hugging shoes? These are not that. Pick a different style. Not for you. You normally go barefoot and just don't want to keep stepping on surprisingly sharp things? Perfect! You won't feel like you just put on some clunky or restrictive foreign objects.Personally, I love, love, LOVE mine. That "Stone" color is matches my white legs perfectly! I don't have to worry about them not matching an outfit. I DO wonder if my jeans won't ruin them and turn the tops blue, as they did with my new white sneakers, but we'll see. Gotta watch out for that one! Trying to keep them nice and out of the garden as well.. :D

These moccasins are beautiful and soft and quite unique. However, (as a buyer who had to return my usual size) I strongly recommend that you ignore Amazon’s advice and follow Minnetonka’s!: Unless it’s for slippers you should buy a whole size down. I’m usually a size 8, in the picture I am wearing size 7, and it’s a perfect fit. Amazon reviews are often contradictory but I can only think that people reporting that the shoes came up on small side where buying for US not UK sizing.

So comfy as I have a wide foot these were a little more wider than expected I just added a insole to take a little bit of the extra room. Well worth the wait.
